12 posts in this topic

None of the nation's top running backs were on display in Mobile, but the class is deep and there could be some alluring options in the middle rounds, including the FBS's all-time leading rusher.

None of the RBs looked good at Saturdays game. QB Webb did look good. Webb may need a little time to polish him off a bit, but he has a good release and speed on the ball for quick seam passes. Something we don't have now with old "3 and out Flacco".

I thought Hunt looked good. Very good burst, excellent balance, and broke some tackles. He and Pumphrey could be good return men and 3rd down backs. Clement is intriguing. He was the heir apparent to Gordon before he was injured. Could be a bargain pick up in later rounds.

I'm not sure why some of these RB's are on the list because some are in the same mold as Dixon, West, Allen, and Lorenzo. The ravens got the same cut of back on the roster. Unless Fournette or Cook fall to 16 the ravens will probably do what they have done the few years. They will take one in the middle rounds running in the range of 4.5-4.7 standing 5'10-6ft weighing 210-220lbs nothing that will set your hair on fire. I wouldn't be opposed to Alvin Kamara or Curtis Samuel from Ohio St. because they give you a receiving dynamic and they are actually fast.

I agree. Outside of taking a clear upgrade RB like Fournette or Cook, I don't see much point in going RB in the later rounds of the draft. We don't need to draft another Allen or Lorenzo in the 4th this year.

if we pick a RB he should either be a 250 lb bruiser or a 195 lb scatback with 4.3 speed.

The Ravens always find good backs hope they find a RB 6ft or 5'10 220lbs! Didn't know Bell of the squeelers was 245lbs but they got him down to 217lbs and it shows! I'm jus sayin! McGahee was a beast in the gym and Pierce was getting better! Smh Ozzie and Co. will make it happen! TRUST

the Ravens dont need to take a running back in round one. The running game is strong right now, someone like Clement or Hunt would be good.

I'm fairly confident in Allen and West. They did a good job. I'd rather a pick be used on any type of offensive lineman. The only exception would be Fournette falling to us in round 1, but that's never going to happen.

Don't see any backs being taken in the draft by the Ravens. They seem happy with West and Dixon. I still think Lorenzo Taliaferro could be a monster, and Allen can help out with special teams and step in when needed.
