Yanda Wins Best Offensive Lineman By PFF...Again.

13 posts in this topic

Can we officially start talking about Yanda making a trip to Canton? This guy played over half the season on basically one arm and not only played at an all-pro level at right guard, but he did the same darn thing at left guard. I don't think you can overstate just how difficult that is to pull off. There is going to be one Jonathan Ogden sized hole in our line whenever he decides to hang it up. I can't help but get a little upset every time I think about all the potential years we could have had Yanda and KO mauling people together. Oh well, you can't afford what you can't afford. Congrats Marshal!

While it's tough for a guard, I think Yanda is pretty much a HOF lock.

Yeah it would be awesome to have KO on the other side, but I think it would be/have been better to have an Alex Mack next to him.

Yanda's dominance and more importantly his consistency when it comes to being dominant is almost unheard of.

You'd be very hard pressed to find a bad game, even a down game from him over the past 5 years. And that includes being moved around to LG and RT.

Best RG in the league, best LG in the league and probably would be the best RT in the league if they chose to stick him there.

Were incredibly lucky to have this guy. Hope he's got another 3-5 years of dominance in him.

This dude is golden from left to right; the best on the field and the best off the field, a rare breed in a bunch....

Yanda will be HOF and no one around the league ever doubt that....

He needs a couple more years of his level of play. He's been the best interior lineman of his generation. Maybe the best lineman - period - especially if you consider his versatility.

I see so many people its majority saying our Oline is so terrible needs new faces... man oh man this bothers me how can Ravens have to many misinformed fans what are they basing their information on? I know  the Ravens Oline isn't the best in the league but its not area of the team that is high on the list of signing bigger names.  I honestly think this Oline is where it needs to be like anything it could use some improving but the Oline wasn't the reason for our season.

This is with him dealing with a shoulder injury and having to make the shift to LG. I really think that if we can keep this unit together that we're going to have a really good OL.

Yanda is a baller. He's a monster and I'm honored to have witnessed every songle game in his great career. I feel bad saying this but I'm glad he didn't get the recognition early in his career because he would have priced himself out of Baltimore.

Now, Yanda has regularly played through all kinds of injuries and played great but it's time for Yanda to acgnowlidged his age and focus on extending his career.

If he gets hurt then let it heal rather than fight through lingering injuries all the time. I think Yanda has 3 or 4 great years in him and hope we are blessed enough to see them in purple.

thank you for everything Yanda. May your efforts never go unnoticed
