[News] Ravens Have Drafted NFL's Most Senior Bowlers Since 2010

It's not like it's hard to know what it would cost to move back into the first round with the picks we have.  There is a chart that has been around awhile that assigns point values to each pick and you can use that as a rough guideline for trades as most teams do.

In regards to his estimate jumping 17-19 spots to get back into the 1st round would probably cost at least a 2nd 3rd and 4th.  It's a huge jump and picks deprecate in value quickly so it's not exactly a move in would make in a draft this deep.

not to mention just about every other draft class is deep. And they're just getting better and better. Yet we still continue to waste 2nd and 3rds on a consistent basis, and now we've been working on throwing 1's in the mix

King is the man. We should take someone at 16, then trade back into the latter part of the first and grab King. Those 2 moves would make us playoff bound

You want to trade away a 2nd, 3rd & 4th to move back into the 1st Round to draft an undersized CB that can't cover a quality NFL WR. If he had the speed or agility he might be able to be a slot CB, but since he doesn't have NFL level of either, he will have to move to S. Because of that, he has a 2nd Round grade on him by most teams and scouts - but you want to trade up and draft him in the 1st. Talk about stupid drafting.......lol

Funny how you know exactly what it would take to move up...lol. Yeah there's a general consensus of values, but that obviously changes when things heat up with teams on the clock on draft day. And you are hilarious stating that he can't cover wrs in the NFL outside or in the slot LOL And undersized you say??? Hmm, he's taller than Young, and bigger. And I remember Young guarding 6'6 Eifert 1 on 1 on the goaline from the 5. So yeah, nice logic there. And you say most scouts have blah blah grade on him. Interesting I bet scouts had a 6th round grade on Brady, and a 5th round grade on Sherman, and a 4th round grade on Young. But you're right, we should take a 166lb rb from SD State in the 3rd! LOL

The fact that you think he's Darrelle Revis proves to everyone on here what we already know about you.....Yes he's taller and bigger than Young but he's much, much slower. This from the guy that posted that Hester was a great signing and we would all be on his bandwagon. Great prediction there....Keep posting and proving it......lolololololol

Yes, because I put I think HE's Darrel Revis. I said he reminds me of him. As in there are similarities in their games. Nobody is anyone else wise one. And it's funny that even someone like yourself, that's "played higher levels of football" still puts so much stock into 40 times. Football is speed is different-foot placement, using your space efficiently, reaction time, etc. And CLEARLY Hester still had it if you watched the playoffs. Unfortunately we were about the worst coached team in all phases this year, which made him look like crap.SO, you failed again, nice try though

Hester clearly still had it?....lol And you think the coaches are the ones that made Hester just watch the punt bounce right in front of him.....lol

Keep posting & proving.....hahahaha

If you watched the playoffs, while the Ravens were on the coach. Yes, Hester still had it. Obviously

Also, if it took a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, for a 1rst, it's worth it in this class. The majority of the 40 that will be taken in this class have the talent of the top 20 in most classes. So, would I give up a 3rd and 4th to pick at pick 28 overall, instead of pick 48? In a heart beat. Especially with the way the Ravens have been drafting for a while. Picking at 16 and 28 in this draft is like picking in the top 10 then top 20 in most drafts. The value is definitely there to do it. Grabbing 2 play making pro bowlers in the draft this year would not only go miles towards helping compete next year, but it'd be monumental for our future. Grabbing a couple more Raven legends. Cuz next year is the last year we have any, that is if Sizzle decides to play again after witnessing how much of a SShow this year was

Teams overpaying to move up because they want a guy would lend credence to my point that it'll be very costly to move up.

Also a lot of pro bowl players are found in the middle rounds.  Obviously less than the top but for example the Ravens are trying to sign there 3rd round pick in Williams who is a problem bowl level player AND Wagner, a 5th round pick, who is also a pro bowl level player.
