We need a shut down cb to make our pass rushers better, Then either a OL or edge rusher. We don't have the ability in the FO to draft a WR.

Your point has certainly been proven to the nth degree.

While there many other glaring needs than rb, if an amazing rb falls to us, we should grab him in a hurry. Look at dallas offense, they can run all they want and so their TOP is big which helps their D a lot. So, if our O  can give the D lots of time and rest, we are good

not defending joe but kirk has had the better oc's to work with. more creative and know how to utilize the talent they have. the oc's we have had are clueless aside from kubs. they have had strong running games as well.

At the end of the day, it comes down to dissecting defenses and having good chemistry and understanding the strengths and weaknesses of those playing around you and playing to them. All aside, it comes down to reading defenses and reacting in the moment to beat them. Kirk is proving to be way better than Joe in that department. He is not as gifted physically nor does he have the arm that Joe has, but he is better where it matters - seeing the field, reading defenses and dissecting them.

Analogously, it is like Arthur Brown who had all the speed and reflexes to be a great linebacker. He was physically very gifted, but Orr beat him to that spot and played marvelously. Not because Orr was more gifted physically than Arthur Brown, but because he was heady and played with great understanding for the game.

Just get a RB 6ft 220lbs and put him in the mix! T West knows what he has to do KD is a lock and now get a big back since everyone wants to run so much! Loosing B Pierce hurt because he was getting better in my eyes and I liked Toussaint but he not here anymore!

pierce was garbage in jax and didnt get 1 carry with the broncos last season. not sold on the west/dixon pkg. dixon seems more like a 3rd down change of pace back.. we need our version of leveon bell or draft a big boy that can wear down defenses with west than let dixon do his thing. we need this marty/roman duo to run an offense that atlanta has. watching their offense all season has been something beautiful. we need playmakers. look what julio has done for ryan. i pray that perriman becomes a julio jones

look at the o-line dallas has. prescott was barely touched.

Of all the needs right now a running back is not one of them. Besides, I can't see the Browns passing on Cook with one of their two first round picks.

hate watching other teams in the playoffs. should be in there if it were not for some greedy calls by the hc, crappy offensive game plans and a dc that got too conservative with leads.

Why are we talking about running backs when this coaching staff won't run the ball when West & Dixon CAN run the ball !

They said they"Believe in running the ball"

I gotta say the Falcons offense made me so jealous. I wish our offense could be like that. The WRs can gain separation (we cannot), they got Freeman who can run and catch and a Qb that has great accuracy (Joe needs to get his accuracy fix) but wow what an offense and that's what our offense should be. Congrats to the Falcons and hope you win the Super Bowl.

Does it really make a difference? Our O line could not create huge holes or carpet space where a guy like Bell could shift, balance and dart for those extra yards.

Tired of seeing "West for No gain" or "West for 1 yard". He's a plodding smash against the wall RB. Dixon has some wiggle and some toughness - hoping he takes over the lead back. But the bottom line is none of these guys are on the level of a Zeke or Bell - they're not even on a Thomas Rawls, Spencer Ware level. Let's face it, if you lined up all the RBs in the NFL and picked them, these guys would be at the bottom. Just look at the play-off teams - they are not there because of their secondary or defense, it's because of Ben/Bell/Brown; Ryan/Julio/Freeman; Brady/Edelman/Blount; Rodgers/Montgomery/Jordy.

I agree with Kiper. Founette is injury prone and Dixon, if he can stay healthy can do many of the things Cook can do. With the loss of Orr the Ravens need to look at other spots.

i dont see us picking a RB in 1st, our 1st rnd pick should a decent Passrusher or CB at 16, if we can't get one of these, trade down to the 20s pick up an extra 4th and pick an OL with the 20s pick.

no way we pick a RB that early.

elliott ran for 1600+ b/c of dominant OL, horrible comparision. we need to build our OL than we can about any random RB back there to run it. i hope we keep wagner to stop the turnover at the OL, its getting worst than the OC turnover. cut our losses like powers, wright, lewis, arrington, graham, doom.

I don't think it makes sense to draft a RB or CB in the 1st round. We need to keep building our o-line. I expect the defensive players we drafted last year will be ready enough to keep us in the top 10. It takes time to get used to game speed but after a year of training Correa and Young could be quality starters.

Watching this AFC Championship game, it is clear that if the Ravens want to compete with Steelers and Patriots, they must improve the secondary.

Also, since Orr is out, they need to keep B. Williams. He makes the LBs better. And IMO is the clear cut best player at his position for the Ravens defense. Cut Dummervil, Webb, Wright and restructure whoever to make it work.

WAIT! whover asked this question, you have to be kidding, right? a first round pick on a running back? i certainly hope this team is not entertaining the thought of a running back? no wonder this organization is going backward's.first off a RB if your lucky lasts 3 years in the league number 2 our O-LINE needs to be better and block in the run game, even if you brought in JIM BROWN,he couldn't run behind this line, when ALEX LEWIS was playing LT this year he opened holes and we won those games.STANLEY came here as a pass blocker, but his first year he was still not strong enough to push around the likes of JAMES HARRISON,lewis came here a more complete lineman, but next season STANLEY will be bigger and stronger and i hope nastier in the run game,a RB/ do not make us laugh! smart teams like the patriots never pay top dollar on a RB,Iit's the line stupid! you know what we used to have? we are rebuilding a new line and DIXON and WEST are a fine 1-2 punch, give dixon another year! you think ELLIOTT could of run behind our line as great as he did in dallas? your crazy,DAK PRESCOTT and ELLIOT were so good because their line was so great.we need in order a CORNER like DEE KING and this is just me,the best QB in college that has come around every great while, like PAYTON MANNING in PAT MAHOMES,44 tds 8 rushing and only 10 int's he may be there at 32 and a steal for any team, yeah,he needs a year or 2 but he's a guy that you can groom behind MORNINGWEIG,the qb whisperer! JIMMY SMITH even when healthy is now maybe only a slot cb now in his career with injuries that have lost him a step or 2.we already have an LB in JUDON that will really pick it up in year 2! who is running personel up there now? to even be contemplating wasting a 1st rounder on a rb? give us a break!

exactly! i could of got a thousand yards behind that line, alex lewis won us games at lt when stanley went down, stanley needs an offseason to get stronger,a rb? seriously,a position that lasts maybe 3 years? give me a break!

i wish 1 thing,we get rid of ZUTAH! he's a walking penalty drive killer! we need a great corner like DEE KING in round 1 and a the best QB coming out of college since PEYTON MANNING in PATRICK MAHOMES,he can sit a year or 2 but MORNINGWEIG the qb whisperer and we get a 44 td 8 rushing and only 10 ints a year qb in two years!

it's sad because we never wanted ELLIOT,we we suppose to trade for RAMSEY but the deal got screwed up! we can get our CB this year with DEE KING he can also play safety just like RAMSEY can,KING is not ranked the highest cb on the board, but many insiders believe he is the best, physical corner in the draft,J SMITH,when healthy has lost a step due to injuries, they can put him in as a slot guy, then we have 2 physical shutdown corners in TAVON YOUNG who will get even stronger this offseason, and KING a true shutdown guy,our secondary would be as good as ARIZONAS and a tad lower than SEATTLES,but then again,we have the best run stopping D in football! so we will just be,very good at doing both, the first thing i do before all that is give ZUTAH his pink slip,he's a walking penalty, drive killer! draft a strong BULLDOZER like DENVERS MCGOVERN and STANLEY another offseason to get stronger and DIXON and WEST will be a fine 1-2 punch!

i CRINGED when they gave RICE that big contract and wrote to not please do it,but they did anyway.RICE was good, but it is when we had the top O-LINE in football at the time,i cringed when they gave FLACCO a big contract, they didn't listen then either,i wish just sometimes we were like SAN DIEGO and didn't hand out ANY big, long term contracts.
