What excites you most about the Ravens entering next season?

I don't think their trade market will be as big as they think it is. Great player obviously, but I don't see a ton of teams giving up like a 1st round pick for a 29 year old WR that you then have to extend with a monster contract. Basically looking at $12-15M a year AND a 1st round pick for a 29 year old WR.

That's not something I'm giving up. If its for a 2nd or 3rd rounder, I could see it.

Wasn't Boldin around 29 when the Ravens traded the Cardinals a 3rd and 4th for him? Obviously Brown is more talented and more production to back it up and will get paid a lot more but both were in their final year of their contract. It may take a 2nd and 3rd for Brown. I guess it all depends on how confident that team is in extending him or resigning him.

What excites me is the last season is over.  Growth of past two draft classes and another decent pick this year.

The wr market has changed and Boldin couldn't command the type of contract Brown could.

Well obviously he will command more money.... But if it took a 3rd and a 4th in Boldin's final year it will most likely take more to get Brown on a roster. That was my point.

Ok.  My bad then.

I dont think the Front Office is as confident in our running backs as you guys are.

I hate that your probably right on this one. The actions of our FO prove that theyr not completely sold on any of our backs.

I personally have fallen in love with Dixons play but if the FO were then he wouldn't be sharing snaps with west.

west is a guy that I really tip my hat to. He came in and exceeded all expectations. But it seems like he's maxed out his potential. He may never be an every down back for a SB team. That's not a knock on him but it's just what it is.

LT is another guy who keeps improving then gets hurt.

buck Allen is.... Well I have no idea why they drafted him in the first place if theyr never gonna use him.

what really kills me is that we have 2 3rd rounders and 2 4th rounders fighting for order on a depth chart. That's 4 roster spots right there. Use them or trade them for whatever you can and bring someone in who you will use. Let's stop playing musical chairs at RB for gods sake!

Exactly. I think the only RB guaranteed to be on our roster( excluding trades) next year is Dixon and he might be the 2nd or 3rd RB.
