...When it finally felt like the gap left after Darryl Smith's production was filled, this happens. It's tough to have such a blow. Zachary, your play and unselfishness has shined on during the last three seasons. I'd usually bet 45 would get at least a tackle on kick offs and punts, and there you were, delivering.
Great season - All Pro ! Wish you the best.

Orr was turning into a legit ILB. He was one of the reasons why the defense showed improvement this year with his ability to cover and tackle in space. Also Orr led the team in tackles and tackles per game in 2016.

What a great young man! Too bad that he can't play football anymore but good for him that he detected his congenital condition now versus on the field. All is well that ends well indeed. Good luck Zach!

Glad for Orr , he made the right decision. He was just coming into his own and will be really missed. Correa will have to step up , but they will have to look to the draft or free agency to better fill Orrs role. A guy like Jabari Parker may have to be a consideration in the first round. Best of luck to Orr hopefully he can stay in the organization in some capacity.

Great decision for him, obviously. As much as he loved the game, you know this was a hard decision for him to make and also critical that he makes the right decision, which he did. Fortunately, he got the warning and heeded it. What an amazing career from undrafted to All-Pro considerations in such a short time. I hope he is on staff as soon as this next season. I hope both Zach and the Ravens can turn this loss into a gain.

Yes, tough break for Orr. We will have to pick up a veteran or draft a LB to fill his role. This will further show that Correa was a waste of a #2 pick. Hopefully KC can make a special teams tackle or two because that's what you want from your #2 pick.

I can't handle too many more of these sad days in Baltimore. When is our luck going to change for the better?

Orr really stood out and made some amazing plays. Before this news, I was looking forward to watching him next year as a key player on the defense. Orr made the right decision to leave the game while his body is intact but I will surely miss the impressive plays he made. Orr is off to life's next great adventure and I wish him all the best in life. Glad Orr had such a terrific final year as a starter.

Proud of you Zach Orr. Even when nobody believed in you and you came in here as an UFA... you never doubted. You proved everyone wrong and that is a testament to your character. Your type of character is rare and it will be missed. Good luck in the next chapter. God Bless!

Zach..... Ravens Flock loves you. We're behind your decision and God Bless you and your family. I pray for your health and your happiness. We'll surely miss you out there. You were becoming a really fantastic Linebacker.

Thank you for your time here. You'll always be a Raven to us.

Probably about the same time some people on this website stop criticizing each other and acting like a know-it-all.... NEVER.

He should be a coach. The poor guy has a spine defect and the organization could take care of its own.
