[News] Zachary Orr Announces Early Retirement Because Of Spinal Condition

I guess you could say Ozzie's pick of Author Brown kinda help Orr play and find his medical problem. I knew Orr would take his spot just because he ran sideline to sideline faster than Brown.

Sorry to hear about the spine thing Zack. You avoided a serious injury and you played well and showed your metal while you were here so you have nothing to be too sad about.
Good luck in your future endeavors. Would love to see you back as a linebackers coach.

Man, this is so sad for the level he managed to reach in these years of playing football. At the same time I am grateful for what he's given us (a real raven tackling machine) and for what he's building in terms of setting an example for young players. Definitely good that nothing worse happened to him while on the field. -Hell of a ride, Zach, and I am sure it is far from being over. The best of wishes to you, whatever happens next!

It's such a cliche to say people dont appreciate what they have untill it's gone.

i feel like I didn't really get the chance to appreciate what what we had in Orr now that he's not playing anymore.

He outplayed his contract for sure and exceeded all expectations. That my friends is a winner!

i really hope Steve biscotti finds him and a few of his loved ones some really nice jobs where they can contribute and get paid handsomely as a thank you for 3 great years.

I know we'll see Orr around. Thank you and best of luck Orr.

Very saddened to hear this...Orr was fast becoming one of my favorite Raven's. I am glad that he was blessed to find out his condition before he had a serious injury. He always came across as a hard working man, so I would fully expect him to find success in what ever endeavor he undertakes now that he is retiring. Good luck, best wishes and you will be fondly remembered in Baltimore, brother.

Sad he's leaving but happy he was able to be apart of the Ravens and walk away healthy from the game.
