UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

LB Zach Orr retires due to serious injury

100 posts in this topic

Another disappointing news to top off a disappointing season.  I really liked Zack was just thinking the other day Zack and CJ gonna be beasts together next year... ugh but I wish him the best after football help Ravens can help him with medical bills.

Time to step it up Correa.

And a heartfelt thank you to Zachary Orr for giving his all to the fans and this organization. I feel bad that he will never get the pay day he deserves.

I came back to this thread just to get sad again.....smh....this is about as sad as Willis having to retire early. It sucks because it shows how much guys like him love this game.

He really had some much potential that he was just starting to scratch at.

He will be missed as a player but it truly is great that they found this. It sounds like he's been dodging a potentially horrific injury for many years.

I hope there's a place for Orr in the organization after the dust settles. He's the kind of person I'd like around the Castle, whether that's coaching or some similar role. He's a Raven for life.

it's a rare opportunity to potentially have a guy coaching who could legitimately say he could play better than the rookies who come in etc. when they first arrive and i imagine that could be awesome lol - it would be a really unique coaching experience for the players - like this guy was literally doing this better than most of the league last year so learn from what he does and says and talks about and the way he comports himself - id be so happy for him to fast track his way back into wink's linebackers room

Not going to happen. Sorry. This guy saw little to no action last year.  He didn't even flash in a game.

He's on the field.

What did he have 24 combined tackles? Correa only had like 5 or whatever, but Correa has more of an excuse being behind TWO ALL-PRO LINEBACKERS on the depth chart. And when you have Albert McClellan who can fill multiple roles and is one of the best, if not the best special teams player the past 5 or so years, Correa didn't really have much of a chance unless he became a probowler his rookie season. And that is way too much to ask of a rookie player. Myles Jack didn't show anything in his limited snaps. Both are young and have a lot of room to grow.
