2017 Senior Bowl

Wow. Tredavious white is 6-0 197. I'd like to get that confirmed but that is really good size. And Jourdan Lewis is 5-11

Wasn't deshaun watson invited to the senior bowl?

Watson decided to skip it.

Oh. Idk about that choice

TBH I don't think his draft stock gets higher from playing in the senior bowl - he's just come off a phenomenal win against a phenomenal defence and is pretty much already a certified 1st rounder (2nd rounder worst case for him)

corey davis is skipping it too

im trying to think in the last couple years, what potential 1st-2nd rounder (projected prior to the game at least) really benefited from playing that game. they're better off to focus on the combine and character interviews at this point

if youre a senior going into the draft these days chances are youre either a strong consideration for the 1st-2nd round or trying to claw your way up as a potential mid round pick

Right but he would be working with the jags and bears coaches so it could in that sense. If the coaches work with him and see his character and maturity first hand and the leadership on the feild as well

I think if he wants to do something about the QB or 2 that'll probably go ahead of him, he should have gone to Mobile.

I honestly don't think it would change anything - when you have 2-3 qbs who are all going to go around the same time it comes down to personal taste as to who to take first - going to the senior bowl won't change that in actuality because he's got 2 years of tape playing at a very high level and succeeding in big games

Players that want to improve their stock go, but those whom fear it could negatively effect them then they skip it, hence, Corey Davis.

I think it's not just about their performance, but rather an initial evaluation of character.

I want us to interview King, Lewis, Lamp, Orlosky, among many others.

K.Fuller and D.Feeney are going to have their hands full with M.Adams, C.Watkins and E.Vanderdoes lining up on the other side.

Lots of interesting matchups.. Man can't wait for the DL/OL drills

Lots of interesting players participating this year, even if a few of the top guys have bowed out. We in particular have to pay a lot of attention to the Senior Bowl considering we are known for taking lots of players from previous games, last year 5 of our draft picks - Kaufusi, Moore, Young, Dixon, and Canady - were participants.

His tape isn't that special though. He needs something else to get him back into Round 1. I think that showing himself as coachable and getting face time in with the Browns and Bears (or whoever is coaching) would have been the best way to do that.

Senior Bowl weigh in results (note: I did not make this spreadsheet, full credit goes to redditer warriorx559):

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1RpWQMVIk9QophJvzp_p2H6kWc8gAW1Se-ilqAMqOZlY/edit#gid=0

Just a few noteworthy guys that I've seen are:

Jourdan Lewis coming in at 5'10", 188 lbs, 31 inch arms, no one will ever say he's a big guy but measuring in at 5'10" with long arms is definitely good for him.

Rasul Douglas, 6'2", 204 lbs, his size does him favors, if he shows more of a willingness to tackle and fluid hips in coverage he could move back into second round contention, possibly higher if he checks out at the combine.

Julie'n Davenport, 6'6", 310 lbs, huge 36 inch arms, 87.5 inch wingspan, these are the measurements you look for in a prototype tackle

Tanoh Kpassagnon, shade under 6'7", 280 lbs, 85 inch arm span - we knew this guy is big, real question is whether he's got the strength, and more imprtantly can he get the leverage necessary, to stand up to NFL caliber linemen.

OJ Howard, 6'5.5", 250 lbs, hands are only 10" which is fine, just a bit small for his size. He's bigger than I thought, makes his athleticism even more impressive.

Mike Roberts, 6'4", 260 lbs, I don't know if I've ever seen bigger hands at over 11.5", if he has a good game then he'll rise, bank on it.

Desmond King willing to play safety, thinks Ravens are perfect fit

I wouldn't be overly excited for that.  That doesn't solve the issues at CB.

Haason Riddick LB from temple is a guy not enough people are talking about. He's an explosive athlete, great twitch to him shows the traits you like as an edge rusher yet he can be used all over the feild. Has great coverage abilities as he came in as a corner. The traits he shows on film are undeniable and is very versatile in any scheme, we could use his speed on our defense

Donnel pumphrey RB from San Diego st. Is very intriguing prospect. He's Teeny tiny yet he set a record for most rushing yards in fbs history and you know how the ravens  covet production. Scored 62 rushing touchdowns in his career so touchdowns aren't an issue. He's an excellent change of pace back and would compliment Dixon very well

I'm really interested in seeing forest lamb play center. If he can then his stock should be a 1st rounder and the best offensive lineman in this class. His versatility and ceiling are as good as you can get for an oline man.

Nice! Looks like we won't be getting him because it'll be our luck if he went a couple of picks before our turn.

He played a full college football season, in the ACC Championship Game AND two playoff games. Senior Bowl won't mean more than a long season.

Browns are already sold on him at 12, it appears.

I agree  to certain agree since The Ravens depth at outside corner is lacking but they do need a  young talented  safety to groom and probably more depth a nickel corner as well since Powers may not be re-signed.

My dream scenario is snagging one of the top corners in the first (lattimore, jones, wilson, etc.), then King falling to our 2nd round pick. (I am very biased on King because I am a huge Hawkeyes fan) Talk about a boost to our secondary!  Jimmy and first round pick on the outside, Tavon in the slot.  Then, King would either replace Webb (if we cut him, which I am hopeful we can retain him on a more team-friendly deal) or be very quality backup at CB and S.  I know we have other needs, but secondary has been the area that has let this team down the most over the last few years.  I think this is the draft to go hard and address that area.

I certainly agree that Desmond King would be a solid addition for the Ravens. I see him as more of a safety but he does have the versatility to play corner. He would be very helpful in the nickel and dime packages.

Really impressed with Cooper Kupp so far. His on field performance was excellent getting in and out of his breaks so clean, while winning at every level all while looking so smooth and polished.

However it was his interview that I was most impressed with. He seems to really love the hard work required to be great and has the mindset that he'll never be good enough so keep working hard. Both on and off the field he sounds like a great fit for the Ravens.
