Just imagine if we would have had Lewis and Brady on the same team. We would have used the Steelers as a toilet paper for over a decade. And who knows, maybe Lewis would have taught Brady how to be a man, instead of being a little whiny crybaby he is today.

Dennis deserves the comeback award. Bell shouldn't have been considered. Why award someone who was suspended four games for something they did wrong?

well, I'm sure somebody pushed for Aaron Rodgers while they took Mark Clayton two spots ahead. just imagine if ..., well I can't imagine. some of these are luck (like the Brady case), some are draft misses. it does not feel good when we can only talk about these in January.

According to "reports" the Eagles are considering cutting ties with C Jason Kelce...

If it's true, I can definitely see a trade potential there. Kelce would be an obvious upgrade over Zuttah (sorry, Jeremy...), and a trade would keep Kelce off the FA market where he would probably be offered more than what we could afford...

The question is... Do I really care that Br*dy was considered here??? The answer to that is NO, I really don't care.

Yeah - the draft is never a science: you can seldom go for sure. Every single franchise could make a loooooooong list of total blunders - players they took and regretted, and ones they didn't take and then regretted... The draft gurus are the GM's (and draft teams) that make the least of these.

lets be honest. if brady was drafted here he would of sucked.

Well... if Bledsoe doesn't get injured, maybe Brady would have never become what he has become... No way of knowing.

If he is approaching free agency, how would a trade work? Could he refuse the trade to hit FA instead? Just asking, cause I don't know.

he's under contract with the Eagles through 2020, and so he could be traded.

Since these “WHAT IF’S” don’t mean a hill of beans. Let’s go with another version.

With the 5th instead of Jamal Lewis (RB) they draft Brian Urlacher (LB) who was drafted 4 spots later ensuring Priest Holmes stayed a Raven.

With the 10th pick instead of Travis Taylor (WR) they draft John Abraham (DL) who was drafted 2 spots later.
In the 3rd round instead of Chris Redman (QB) they Draft Laveranues Coles (WR) who was drafted 4 spots later.

In the 5th round instead of Richard Mercier (G) they Draft Marc Bulger (QB) who was drafted 15 spots later in the 6th round.

In the 6th round they still draft Adalius Thomas (LB), but instead the drafting Cedric Woodard (DT) with their last pick they take undrafted Shaun O’Hara.

So: Vs.
QB Marc Bulger Chris Redman
WR Laveranues Coles Travis Taylor
OL Shaun O’Hara Richard Mercier
LB Brian Urlacher Jamal Lewis
LB Adalius Thomas Adalius Thomas
DL John Abraham Cedric Woodard

We have a team loaded with talent and determination, yet we struggle to make 8-8. That's where our "What if's" should be. What if coaching decisions were better?, what if we learned to RUN more?..what if Joe WAS elite more consistently?...where would/will we be? Forget Tom Brady.
I don't want to be on the outside looking in anymore.

Flacco is LAZY and dumb as a brick at reading and adapting to defenses, and he was a 1st round pick right ?

Just media clickbait.

The Eagles save very little salary cap space if they cut or trade him. Add in the fact that he was still a highly productive player and there is no reason for the Eagles to move on.

I am sure you could do much better. Bah Humbug. Another true Ravens fan.

Lazy?  Absolutely not.  He was at the castle every day (including after a blizzard) to rehab his knee and return ahead of schedule.  He was even there last week when almost everyone else was "off".  I think you need a new rant.

He had more accepted penalties than Zuttah and was manhandled by the big boys...wash at face value.

i doubt it. We drafted Boller in 2003. Rodgers was drafted in 2005

i think that depends on what type of blocking scheme that Marty is going to use most next season. Kelce would fit nicely into a zone block scheme but he had trouble with bigger DTs. It would also depend on what kind of money he is looking for. There is a reason that Philly may be cutting ties with him. He had one of the worst years of his career in 2016. This article below pretty much sums it up. It is sort of difficult to pinpoint exactly why he regressed so much last year, but I think the fact that he was asked to block the DTs that lined up directly on top of him much more that he did it Chips scheme, certainly played a roll. He also seems to have had trouble with his snaps in shotgun formations. And he had eight penalties last year which is even more than Zuttah had.

You might be right but he really had a bad year in 2016.

LB Brian Urlacher Jamal Lewis?

Urlacher was a MLB so he wasn't going to replace Ray Lewis. We were a 4-3 team then so only 1 MLB was needed and it was Ray. Jamal Lewis helped us win our first Super Bowl. Urlacher never won one before.

To be honest I like it the way it turned out. It so gratifying to beat Tom Brady. Especially the way we do in the playoffs :)

Here's wishing and hoping all turns out well again for Kristen Berset and Brent Harris. A savage disease that strikes across all economic and social lines and knows no boundaries. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to the newly married couple.

Just imagine having a good QB with the decade of defensive dominance?

Ya it's a fantasy, but realistically if we have a QB who elevates the play of his peers from the 00' season-08' alone, I think we win it all at least 2 extra times. Brady would legit have probably at least 5 rings. 00', 01', 06', 08', 10',11', probably 12'. We had such great defenses and our offense just habitually let us down.
