Now that the server is back up, we can discuss this big news. Also the Chiefs released RB Jamaal Charles making it 2 big name RBs hitting the market next week. I think Oakland will give AP the money in overpaying but much like Charles, I think AP will want to play for a contender and try to get a Super Bowl ring.

I just realized the Patriots have 60 million in cap space, what the hell.  I honestly could see BB trying to get him to come to NE.  Im having a hard time understanding how the hell they have that much space.  They can go all out in FA if they want.  Do they have big name guys that need contracts ?

I know they wont, but they could realistically go after any name in FA: DJax, Garcon, Jeffrey, Poe, AP, Jamal Charles, etc.....

I could see them going after Poe. That probably would be a great pickup for the Patriots.

This throws a wrench into the QB market but I'm pretty sure this is all just going to plan for BB. Say your not trading someone to even further rob a team when he proves to be a system QB.

‪In a move that will have a ripple effect on all QB-needy teams, Patriots are not expected to trade QB Jimmy Garoppolo, per league sources.‬

So the Cleveland Browns tank in a year where the Draft isn't too promising when it comes to the QB Class. The Jets meanwhile.... realize the 2018 QB Draft Class is much better and are tanking this year.

I don't think they tanked, they just aren't good

Blockbuster Trade close? Don't think there's been a 3 way trade in the NFL before but this might be the first.

Redskins, Cowboys and 49ers discussing a huge 3 way trade that sends Cousins to the 49ers, and Romo would become the new QB of the Redskins.

There have been three way trades before, but they are pretty rare.

I really hate that trade for Washington (which means I love it for them since I think they'd be coming out terribly for it).

The Texans rumour makes more sense, but since when did these QB trades be about what makes sense.

Whatever you do New Orleans, trade Brandin Cooks to Philly or Tennessee. Actually preferably Philly since we play Tennessee this year but no matter what, do not send him to New England. Do not take part in helping the Patriots win. So apparently, the Patriots offered the 32nd pick in this year's draft in exchange for Cooks. It's more likely he ends up in Philly and Tennessee considering they have higher first round picks than New England and the Saints could use 2 first round picks in the top 20 to get center pieces moving forward.

In what world is Mike Glennon worth $14-$15M a year? That's the reports coming out saying he will get close to the bench mark that Osweiler set last offseason.

Lol, I guess the world in which Osweiler gets that much, too

New report suggests AP would take a discount to play for the Patriots.

Yea, this is what I was afraid of

I actually am not afraid of this. I think AP is done and he will be nothing more than an average back.

Rams are shopping CB Trumaine Johnson and are in discussions with teams about acquiring him.

With the Bills likely to look elsewhere, 49ers likely to land Kirk Cousins and the Jets not in the running for Glennon, the Bears are likely to land QB Mike Glennon.
