Let the QB Carousel begin......... The Bears have actively began seeking a trade partner for QB Jay Cutler.

As for his replacement, it seems the Bears are going to be one of those teams falling for the trap of the Patriots as they look to acquire Jimmy Garoppolo.

What a day.....

- Bucs cut CB Alterraun Verner which saves them $6.5M in cap.

- Jets cut OT Breno Giacomini, saves $4.5M. They also let go of long time Kicker Nick Folk.

- Broncos will not pick up the option on LT Russell Okung.

With the March 1st deadline looming, some moves were made today.

- Panthers have franchised DT Kawaan Short

- The Arizona Cardinals have tagged OLB Chandler Jones

- The Steelers have done the predictable by placing the tag on RB Le'Veon Bell

- The Cleveland Browns will NOT Franchise WR Terrelle Pryor

- Chargers will likely franchise OLB Melvin Ingram

- The Rams will likely franchise CB Trumaine Johnson

On the QB front, Tony Romo will likely be released within the next two weeks as it seems Dallas will gauge his trade interest before setting him free and letting him hit the market.

Berry already has said he will sit out the season if he is tagged again. That will be interesting to see what happens there.

Probably just a time-grab before they can work out a long-term deal.

This one surprises me with how much cap they have.

I think they'll work out multi year deal with him before he hits the market

But why not tag him just in case?

It's not just Big Ben. The whole Steelers organization is a bunch of drama queens talking about how they're sick of his antics yet they pay him this money. Seriously though, he totally deserves it.

Vikings are not exercising the $18M option for Adrian Peterson as per nfl.com

He will be a free agent. Wonder who overpays for him? Oakland? NYG? Green Bay?

Now that the server is back up, we can discuss this big news. Also the Chiefs released RB Jamaal Charles making it 2 big name RBs hitting the market next week. I think Oakland will give AP the money in overpaying but much like Charles, I think AP will want to play for a contender and try to get a Super Bowl ring.

The Redskins have franchised QB Kirk Cousins a second time in 2 years, and now the waiting game on whether or not he gets traded. If so, to whom?

The Chiefs have inked a 6 year extension with S Eric Berry making him the highest paid safety. Berry signed a 6 year $78M contract with $40M in guaranteed money. He also gets a $20M signing bonus.

This is what Rapoport is saying:

Of course, Dallas is finally on the right track and Jerry wants to screw it up. They need more help on defense, not at RB.

Stephen needs to step in. That's simply insane. I think it'd be great if GB got him. Kind of like a reverse Favre deal.

Now a report has come out from a team source saying they will not pursue AP.
