Neither of these are too surprising.

I wanted Tramon Williams for the Ravens before he signed with the Browns. Looks like the Ravens dodged a bullet.

The Colts have released middle D'Qwell Jackson. Jackson, who led the Colts in tackles each of his three seasons, was suspended for the final four games of the season for using performance enhancing drugs. That's the first major move by Colts new general manager Chris Ballard

Please dont bring in justin gilbert please dont bring in justin gilbert....

Joe Thomas called him out immediately for a lack of love for the game, so I doubt the Ravens will look his way.

Broncos are already setting up a meeting with WR Victor Cruz.

Great. They now just need to find someone to throw the football to him.

No Franchise Tag news yet but we do have some news.

- Jets decline LT Ryan Clady's 2017 Option. Saves them $10M but now have a need at LT.

- The Jaguars also turned down an option on a Left Tackle. LT Kelvin Beachum's option which would have triggered a 4 year contract, now makes him a new free agent.

- Dolphins expected to cut LT Brandon Albert.

Morgan Cox's agent somewhere is drooling. The Cleveland Browns, and yes only the Browns would pay a LS enough money to make him the highest paid LS in the NFL. Browns re-sign LS Charley Hughlett to a new 6 year deal.

Although after our problems with a horrible long snapper (remember Harper La Smell?), I can understand locking up a good one.  I'm sure Hue remembers those days.

The Dolphins cut Brandon Albert..... then they didn't. Why? All of a sudden there was trade interest from teams that wanted him. Reports are that the Jaguars are the team who will acquire him officially once Free Agency opens. So Jacksonville just decided to nix his release because they were willing to give up a pick for him instead of waiting for him to be cut. I thought Tom Coughlin signing with them would have made their front office smarter.

I don't get it.  If Im Albert I would still  hit the open market, although I don't know how good he is.

Well, for the trade one of the options mentioned is giving Thomas for him, which isn't a bad deal. Julius Thomas hasn't been great for them, and they'll be offloading some of his salary to get a guy they can get more use out of.

You were right... PFT is now reporting that is exactly the trade Miami and Jacksonville are working on. Pending physicals for both players, this trade would become official on March 9th when FA begins.

Update: Jaguars to trade conditional 2018 Draft Pick in exchange for Albert. Julius Thomas isn't going anywhere.
