So, apparently the Seahawks would be willing to trade Sherman for a very sizable haul.

Inb4 someone says we should get him.

Is that before or after what we gave up to get him?

I don't get it. You can make millions of dollars to be in shape and play in the NFL. Or be out of shape and be out of the league. His weight management would make me question his commitment to the game....

I'd trade a second round for him and maybe some late round picks and thats where it stops.

Speaking of the Seahawks, it seems Beast Mode wants to come out of Retirement Mode. If he does, the Seahawks still have his rights so either he will have to be released or the Raiders trade for him.

Also, JPP signed a 4 year $62M deal with the Giants, with $40M guaranteed.

Looks like the Saints and RFA CB Malcolm Butler are working on a contract. Wonder if they will give the Patriots back their pick or give up their 11th overall pick.

Seems dumb considering the talent at corner this year in the draft.

The boys still gettin that paper though lol

i think he's genuinely at peace as being a mentor type qb at this point - he seemed to relish that role behind dak prescott - he looked like his biggest fan the whole time - seemed more excited than dak at times

Won't Witten be an octogenarian by then?

The Dolphins make 2 roster moves.....

- They release DE/OLB Dion Jordan

- They have signed recently suspended S TJ McDonald. McDonald will serve a 8 game suspension to start 2017.

Crazy that you can sign a suspended player. Really should be against the rules.

So it begins... Adrian Peterson making his first visit of Free Agency. Unfortunately it's to New England.

I think he already visited the seahawks as well - but man if he ends up joining and essentially replacing Blount then it could be tricky to overcome them

maybe the AFC should just make a pact to sign any player who could be a good pats type player even if they don't fit in your own system just to stop them lol - like there's a rota for the other 15 teams to take the next potential pat and starve them  of guys who fit their system...

I said when he went to visit the Seahawks that I think he's done as far as meaningful contributions go. Even without the age and injuries (which have been well and truly piling up for years now) he only logged 2.7ypa last season. Whoever signs him (if anyone at all) won't be getting the AP we've gotten used to, so I don't see him moving the needle an awful lot.

You're right (and I probably mentioned 1.9ypa during the Seahawks visit) so I'm not sure why I'm remembering it as 2.7. But the point is there's a reason he's unsigned so far.

Well, apparently (according to an NFL.com headline) it's because he doesn't actually want to sign with a team, not that teams aren't interested. Of course, he could be holding out for a big time gig and no one wants to give it to him.

Vikings O-line was terrible so it may be worth it for a team to take a look but I agree in that I think he is done
