How/why is Tim Williams falling so dramatically on these mock sites?

they give you like 10 different site's big boards to choose from... and certain sites or mock guys just have him real low.

Prob an overemphasis on the off-the-field stuff, or maybe they dont like his limited production and all being a 3rd down, pass rush specialist.

Love the first 4 picks.

Might have gone with a CB over Jackson if Howard Wilson, Corn Elder, Akhello Witherspoon, or Kazee were available.

Like Conner a lot too.

And I'm intrigued by Griffin. Would prob prefer the above guys if one dropped... also like Treston Decoud a lot who should be available around this point -- but Griffin has size/length and tons of raw athleticism. Developmental project but that's expected at this point in the draft.

Overall id be pumped with this haul.

I don't think the boards were the main issue. Teams in these simulators just stick too hard to their needs and thus do insane reaches. I usually ended up with players ranked in the top 5 on the board still available at 16.

Anyways, here's one using the Walter board. My first choice in the third was a hard one, between Godwin, Josh Jones, and Antonio Garcia. But had to go for a guy that I think would be the highest ceiling for us. If we hadn't of gotten Jefferson, I probably would have gone with Jones instead. The second third round pick was a really easy choice when I saw Tim Williams was still on the board, and ranked in the low hundreds for some reason (character issues, I guess).

So, using the Walterfootball board I ended up setting up the Ravens' passrush for the next four or more years. The idea of having Barnett and Watt together with Judon in rotation was just too good to pass up. Along with Josh Jones as a potential all pro safety, this would being one of the best drafts in our defense's history. Adding Kupp, Elflien, and Switzer to the offense could be big for that side too.

I debated on the Watt pick in the 2nd since I took Barnett with the 1st, but thought Watt was by far the best player available, so I couldn't pass him up.

While these games are notorious for teams reaching and doing dumb things, in a way I kinda like that about them. It puts you in odd situations, which in a way is realistic, and something Ozzie would have to deal with. Like in this case, I was left in a position where OJ Howard was simply the best player available. In real life though, I'd probably use him as trade bait to move back.
