Yeah, going into it, I never would have guessed I wouldn't take a corner until comp 3rd rounder, but Williams, Baker, and Elflein were too good to pass up at the times of the first 3 picks.  I still don't think Williams will make it to us at 16, but if he somehow does, it would be awfully hard to pass up.

Probably not. This was with Matt Millers board.

Doing backflips. 2 legit O-line starters with the best playmaking CB my favorite non 1st rd WR 2 solid rushers and my favorite RB in the draft. My only thought is Jones going by the 3rd comp at the latest ad while Wilson isn't my favorite CB I would take him although in that 3rd comp-4th round pick I like Kazee from San Diego St. Or Corn Elder from Miami better

True, my amateur eye did not like what I saw from Kpassagnon at the Senior Bowl, either. He may be overdrafted but 5th-6th round wouldn't be bad for him.

not a fan of jaeln reeves-maybin but otherwise i'd be ok with this draft - lamp in the 2nd is a great pickup and i dont really know what to think of carl lawson - he's a bona fide game changer but he's just got such availability issues / risks around him that it's hard to know whether to take the risk - a bit like jaylon smith and myles jack last year

No way I think Adams is available at our pick, but if he was, I don't think I could pass him up!  Also, Kupp got taken 1 spot ahead of me in the second round...I was hoping I would be able to steal him:

These boards are quite laughable.. Every pick should go at least one round ahead of this (Lattimore is still a top 15 talent despte the injuries concern imo and is even the most realistic pick).

I didn't want to grab another top interior lineman after Feeney but I couldn't pass on Elflein in the fourth. Could just try Feeney out at RT while Elflein plays center for the team.

Generally I don't like these simulator sides but hey, we're all obsessed with mock drafts right?

With some of the top talent gone in the first 15 picks and what appears to be a draft for "good starters" and not "elite players" I decided to get out of the 1st round and take the bears 2nd, 3rd, and 4th picks.

This is what I came up with.... And I only drafted the first 5 rounds.

Man, this would be my dream draft.

Immediate starter and potential stud to partner with Mosley. 2 T/G/C prospects that could start day 1, and along with Lewis could give us a really solid OL. Stud pass rusher with 1st rd talent in the 3rd. Complimentary, possession WR with starter, #2 potential day 1. 2 cover corners with really big upside imo, one that is great at sticking and denying the ball, another with big time ball skils. Completely unrealistic, but a boy can dream.
