Does T Williams fall to us now. And is anyone not want him anymore he was ice cold?

Anderson balled out and Foster

I actually have been questioning him for a while now. I honestly don't like his character and think he's the ultimate boom or bust prospect like Takk except takk has a much better personality and his run defense isn't as much a question. They are both very raw but I like takks effort and attitude much better than Williams and i have a feeling the ravens FO will too. I've felt like this for the past few weeks now

I know I'm probably gonna get a lot of negs for this but it's honestly how I feel.

I must say a player that had a quiet good game was tankersly. He never got beat deep and did a great job vs Calvin Ridley. Didn't hear his name much because they did throw his way often. Granted Bama had a very conservative approach but still I'll give tank some credit

I actually really like what I saw out of Ben Boulware.  He might not be the biggest or fastest guy, but he plays with so much heart.  He's a bit of an interesting character, too.  I'd put him in the Matakevich type of range where he's nothing more than a late round pick, but I feel like you can just put him on ST and let him run wild.

Yup big fan. He's also maintained a 4.0 gpa in sports management. I think Ozzie would love him as a prospect

If like him, but I wouldn't use a first or second on him. We have too many other pressing needs

I've been a huge fan of Williams but man he looked pretty ordinary last night, factor that in with slight doubts if character and he easily should not be our 16th pick. When drafting that high you don't hope for boom or bust lol

I think there will be a valuable player there, such as Wilson, Jones, Adams, Thomas, or even Hooker, but if Ozzie is Leary about a player on the board I think he will trade down 4-5 spots pick up a mid rounder and take someone like a McKinley or Harris.

Ya Bama has almost no deep or mid range passing game but tankersly did have good coverage on those few bombs.

I don't like the value of him early, but with the depth at the position he could be there in the third or late second if Ozzie adopts the trade back method

PFF is very high on him. I really wouldn't mind taking him with our second pick.

Solid depth at lb too, something we don't have. He could be effective in short yardage situations

Yes I really like that idea especially if we know for sure nobody in that range needs a pass rusher like they've done in the past with other players. Talk is a kid who I think has a very high ceiling and would take coaching very well. He can learn all the hand usage behind suggs. I like him better than Harris because of upside. I think Harris has a higher floor but lower ceiling type of player

you guys are all overreacting to one game because he was overshadowed by anderson across from him but he wasn't terrible - he could have got a couple of sacks which would obviously change the narrative around him - he had one potential sack which looked a dead cert until he slipped at a crucial moment

Zach Orr you are good but Foster with Mosley would be a pretty sight. Reuben balled out last night.

Im not basing it off of one game. If you read my previous post I said I've been questioning Williams for a few weeks now. I dont like his character and the fact that bama doesnt use him in the run game often has to be concerning. All i was saying is hes not the sure fire prospect many like to make him seem. Hes a boom or bust prospect and after watching more and more film on him thats what im starting to realize.

And if you want to bring up the game then he should have had more opportunities to get sacks then just those 2 instances. Especially against a true freshman right tackle and Tim is a senior so he should have taken advantage far more often than he did

I agree. I don't think so he is worth our 16th pick. We need game changer with that pick. I don't think so he is one. Game changers don't disappear in big games and last night was a big stage.

i thought he played well, if not amazing, the previous two games to this one and i think he's the most natural pass rusher in the class with the way he uses his hands and bends the edge - that's not to say I wouldn't have liked to see more in this game but he's consistently a threat to opposing tackles - and i dont want to make excuses but he kept slipping on the turf yesterday which is always going to make you more hesitant to plant your foot and easier to be stonewalled - i dont know if it was bad luck or bad cleats (if so he should have changed them way) but he ended up on the ground without tackles having anything to do with it

but you have to look beyond just 1 game - i know it was a big game, but so was last week and i thought he played well in the semi-final - he looked out of sorts last night and still nearly came up with the pressures - he is a game changer and I would take him at 16

Amazing? Deshaun watson played amazing idk about williams. Amazing isn't 1 solo tackle and zero sacks or qb hurries. And Williams is not an edge bender. I'm not saying he can't bend the edge because he can, that's just not his best attribute. He's an explosive athlete with one of the best if not the best first step in the country. His hand usage is good but not great. He's honestly pretty raw and doesn't win often with technique more just his rare explosiveness.

The most natural pass rusher in this class is Derek Barnett. He broke Reggie whites Tennessee sack record

If only Leggett could block.  He's not only not good at blocking - he doesn't even look like he wants to put any effort into it.  I do like him as a receiver though, but it always bothers me when a guy just doesn't show any desire to block.

I mean it is one game, but it was against the highest level of competition and that is where you see true talent and potential. If the board was cleared and no trade backs were there then ya Williams would be the pick at 16. But he needs to still add another 7-10 pounds of muscle to handle his business out there.

I hope we give a 2ns round tender to Orr, he was great all around, especially in coverage, but if it doesn't work out, I would love Foster. He is easily a top 10 player though. He is an all around LB and he hits hard! Guys were getting decleated left and right.

Yep. Boulware looked really good and showed very good instincts and high football IQ with decent enough athleticism where he could be an effective starter. I wouldn't take him super early but he'd be in consideration if he makes it past our early picks

I like guys with that type of drive as late round picks.  What he lacks in athleticism he makes up for in heart.  He's one that is always looking to hit someone.  I don't think I'd take him any higher than the 6th round or so, but I'd gladly welcome him here with a late round pick.

I think Orr gets a 2nd round tender. I never gave foster a thought but he was lighting suckers up all night, his speed is apparent as well.

Ben Boulware is the LB from every football comedy movie ever.  He's wild, a bit eccentric, and just loves to hit people and scream afterwards.

im not sure but that's the least hesitant ive seen foster all year - throughout the season he's sometimes been a bit slow to commit to the play and im also really not sure about him in coverage - he looks like a headhunter to me

I think Ben Boulware is just Scooby Wright breaking NCAA participation rules.
