i wouldnt say goodell and the patriots are on good terms at the moment especially given the way their fans consistently mock him and the fact he suspended their qb

Doesn't any AFC team ever watch film of when we face the Patriots? That's the blue print of how to be competitive with the Pats but yet it seems they ignore it and get blown out by the Patriots instead.

it's not that easy to accomplish though in terms of a blueprint - it requires pass rush up all over the line but especially up the middle so there is nowhere in the pocket to step up - it requires a good rushing defensive tackle or two to get in his face and force him into the edge rushers

I think that defense is powerful enough to slow that offense and the Patriots defense has been a sham. 

I truly think the Chiefs just had a really unfortunate offensive week considering how well they played down the stretch.

It doesn't seem like a good idea to pay big money to running backs in a quarterback driven league; they money can be put to better use elsewhere.

Consequently, I'm rooting for them to pay the man and give Bell a long term deal.
