I like Ted Tompson. So I wouldn't fire him at all in the slightest. He assembled a team that got to the NFC championship game. He'd get hired in a heartbeat.

At the same time his team is getting blown out partially because of his failures. The packers have had defensive issues for years and they still have them with little improvement.

well this is a completely underwhelming game, I thought for sure this would be the better of the two games.

This is something I can agree with. He's very hit and miss draft wise.

2013 hit and miss. Datone Jones isn't good, but Eddie Lacy usually is. David Bakthiari is their LT, and he was a second team all pro, J.C Tretter is a good player, as is Micah Hyde. but the rest of the draft isn't great.

2014 for example was a good draft for him. Clinton-Dixon, Adams, Richard Rodgers, Corey Linsely. All pretty good players.

2015 not so much. Damorious Randall, Quinten Rollins. Ty Montgomery has turned out okay but that's it.

2016 they tried again to help out the defense. Kenny Clark played better down the stretch. But he looks like the only good guy.

They've neglected the run defense for the most part, and now their secondary is getting ripped a new one. They better invest a lot, but all in all, I actually think Tomphson's job is safe.

Did they just say the ATL defense has 3 starters from this draft and four from the prior???

Neal and Jones 2016
Beasley, Collins and Jarrett 2015

have all been good this year, some of them were beasting

They also have a HC who hand-picked the players and is actually coaching them

Mike Perriera, former VP of officiating, agreed.

To be fair there's still a good chance the AFCCG is even more underwhelming. I still think you guys have it in the bag.

Thanks! but this "coaching" you speak of; what is this thing called "coaching"?

lol that's a detriment to your position. He is a blind defender of refs

That would be Dean Blandino you're thinking of in all likelihood. Perriera has no ties to the league.

I know people will get caught up in him turning his head, but he was completely in the body of the receiver before he turned his head and faceguarded prior to getting his head turned. Turning your head isn't a magic formula for no DPI

Except for a career in the NFL

I hope the Ravens FO watches this and realizes that when talent is talent, just GO FOR IT. That's what the Falcons did with Julio. "Value" is overrated.

I agree, but even I don't think it could be this one sided. My god I kinda wish dallas won so we got a better game

Problem is that would involve Dallas winning. :P

Except the Falcons kinda sucked for a few years.

Matt Ryan is the clear MVP of the league and is tearing through the playoffs. He's accounted for five touchdowns in this game and three in his last. He hasn't thrown an interception.

This is pretty close to being more dominant than what Joe did in 2012.

The solution is them losing an even more painful game :) Though they must be even more embarrassed they lost to the packers now. The packers had less weapons in that game too.
