The Seahawks caught a break in the first round since the Lions beat themselves with all the dropped passes. But they never looked like an actual contender this year.

Even this game is turning into a blow out.  But at least it felt competitive.

but it's fun - the wildcard games werent fun - this game just feels like a lot of good plays whereas those games were like "when's the bad team gonna make the stupid error"?

If we had gotten Shanahan instead of Trestman... ugh

Shanahan instead of Kubes, I think. Did the Ravens interview him in 15?

Just pointed that out! Loved it, he knows the stakes and is showing great leadership. There is a different air about him this year and it's part of why the Falcons are my NFC pick for the Super Bowl. But still a lot of game left.

Gotta agree with you. I don't see the Packers defense or Cowboys defense being able to shut down the Atlanta offense. Like we have seen with the Patriots(SB 42) a good defense can shutdown a high octane offense. I don't see Atlanta running into issues unless they meet the Patriots or Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Not even the Steelers defense can stop them in my opinion.

Don't know but he was out there that year and we were high on him

The playoffs this year just has this "meh" feeling to it. Not a lot of great teams that we have seen in the past where we can say, can't wait to see if these two teams play or if these two teams meet in the Super Bowl. Again, I think when you look back at the season the quality on the field was down in general thus we see less exciting playoff games.

Yes. He was hired by the Falcons in 2015.

That was before 2014 season, we are talking about a year later after Kubes left

Ah, right. In 2015 we were just talking him up, saying we are still high on him but never interviewed him and it was said that he did a deal with Quinn during the playoffs.

Why do teams have the prevent defense in their playbook? Why don't teams get rid of it and keep the gas on the pedal for the entire 60 minutes.

Atlanta should fire Pees if they don't want to settle for mediocrity.

As soon as I saw Wilson just float the ball in the air I knew that was going to be a pick.

I agree but that means they have to give him back to us though lol.

Well that will be one recent Super Bowl team knocked out of the playoffs. Hopefully the Texans will surprise everyone and knock off the Patriots. Would love to see new teams in the Super Bowl for once.

The "meh" feeling is cause the Ravens are sitting at home out of uniform watching football on tv and chillin'.

Never thought I'd see Seattle get manhandled at the point of attack by the FALCONS of all teams. Truly a new time.

That line is much better than they have been in the past, I think Dallas would be doing the same thing to these guys

This one is dun.

Atlanta's O is stacked, they could go to the dance.

Should be a fun NFC Championship game
