That was a proper smack.

I really don't understand all the Giants hype before this game. Team that couldn't score 20 in last 5 games played at GB who had average over 30 in last 5.

What caused it? I don't think I even saw him get hit

I did say I don't know anything about that.
If I were to wager a guess it is drama for the sake of drama and nothing more.

Interesting that GB's offense has performed better without Nelson. I remember seeing some ppl saying Pitta leaving may work in Flacco's favor. Hmm, well it's giving credence to that.

i am maybe the biggest supporter of this idea.

flacco needs multiple receivers who are equally dependable for their own reasons, putting one guy out there who he considers his security blanket seems to really hurt his game. if pitta leaves then he can no longer get tunnel vision and dump it off to him instantly when he sees his first option covered, it forces him to check his 2nd and 3rd options, which he is capable of doing as weve seen him do it very well before when all of his receivers were performing decent.

In the OAK/HOU game, I remember seeing a graphic showing Osweiler's stats when he throws it to Hopkins which were pretty bad (more INTS than TDs kind of bad) and when he throws to any weapon not named Hopkins which were considerably better. DET is another example even though they ended the season on a bad note.

For the longest time, I've always been a supporter of getting Flacco a stud WR who we can truly say he's a legit #1. However, I've soured on the idea for the reasons you pointed out. Obviously, I would like a possession WR, but I hope we can get said WR in the draft.

I missed the games by oversleeping, looks like they both sucked like yesterdays games though.

How big a streak are you working with?

I think I was at 8 or 9. At 11 now, deciding if I should take the prop, "Alabama will score a TD in the third quarter"

The media sucks. But those guys knew for a fact that if they lost, that boating picture would be absolutely everywhere. Kind of feel for ODB. I know he's a diva at times, but he's passionate.

lol..

May be he should hug the jug machine instead of a yacht in Miami?

The Giants should blow out the Greenbay if their offense could score cuz they dominated defensively in the first half.  The hail mary surely changed the momentum of the game.....

well, it's obvious that the other team worked hard catching balls, running routes and reviewing game plans for the playoff and he and his teammates worked hard swimming in Miami beach...We all know the outcome of the game.....

He is passionate but to the wrong intention.....nothing is given in life.....

GB corner situation reminds me of us in 14 and the Giants have a good defense.  Thought they would be able to take advantage rven though I oicked Packers. I didnt expect the game to turn out like that, but the score early didn't indicate the flow of the game.

Divisional Round Preview:

Seahawks @ Falcons: The last time these two met, the Seahawks beat the Falcons 26-24 in Seattle. This time around, Seattle heads to Atlanta to face a fresh Falcons team coming off the bye. Is Seattle ready to make another Super Bowl run or does Atlanta finally have everything in place for a Super Bowl run? Should be one of the best games of the weekend.

Texans @ Patriots: Who knew you could have two byes in the playoffs. The Patriots get a cakewalk here as the Brock Osweiler led Texans come to town for a divisional round showdown. The Texans will have to get to Brady and shut down Clowney in order to keep Brady up right all night. Patriots should get a easy win here as they will either play the Chiefs or Steelers in the AFC Title Game.

Steelers @ Chiefs: The Chiefs didn't fare too well against the Steelers in the regular season getting blown out but they didn't have Justin Houston for that game. This time, they will and while Ben is putting on a drama act once again walking around in a walking boot expect the Chiefs to get to him all game. Will be interesting to see how the Chiefs gameplan to take Brown out of the passing game and stop the running game with Bell but should be a good game none the less.

Packers @ Cowboys: Oh Dallas... here you are the number one seed and seem primed for a Super Bowl run and all of a sudden Mr. Rodgers comes wandering into your neighborhood. He doesn't want to be your neighbor, he wants to wreck your secondary and shred your defense just like he did to the New York Giants. We saw last season what Rodgers looked like without Jordy Nelson and while his status is still in the air, expect the hot streak of Green Bay to end if Nelson can't play. Will Dallas be able to ride two rookies to the NFC Championship Game or will Green Bay end the hopes of Cowboys fans everywhere?

I'm going with Falcons, Patriots(please, please be wrong), Chiefs and Cowboys. Record currently is 2-2.

Road teams fare better this weekend:

Seahawks 27 - Falcons 24 - Key turnover. Rawls plays keep-away from Matty Ice.

Patriots 30 - Texans 17 - Pats score early and late, game stays within reach until mid way through the 4th quarter

Steelers 24 - Chiefs 20 - Run D cannot stop Bell in the cold rain. Ben throws less than 20 passes.

Packers 31- Cowboys 27 - Aaron Rodgers vs. Rookie in a shoot out. Dante Adams channels Jerry Rice.
