Has anyone here written a book?

2 posts in this topic

Title kind of explains itself.  I have always been a fan of writing since high school, I still right but tends to be only after some beers or just very random times.  One goal in life of mine is to write a book, doesn't mean it has to get published, but one that I can be proud of.  Now my issue is coming up with a topic, that's kind of important.  I haven't decided if I want to write in first person or third person, or even second person. A lot of things I've read online about tips for writing a book is to look for what is trending and what has the best chance to sell, I get that but I don't know if I could really put my all into something that I don't even care about.  Example: write about vampires...I find that concept extremely dumb so how could I actually put the time and effort needed into it.

Its been awhile since ive actually wrote in proper context, so this is going to be a tough venture.  Before I keep going, I guess I'll see if anyone replies.

I haven't written a book, but I have researched the topic. The most important thing is how great/interesting the story line is, not proper context. You can always pay someone to fix that. So step one would to be find something you are passionate about and develop an intriguing story line. I admire anyone who can write an entire book. Good luck.
