wonder if they make a play for brandon marshall. he is an 11 year veteran which is right up ozzies ally. i think the type of back they are referring to is either a bruising type back for short yardage or a darren sproles type for 3rd downs. not sure where juice fits in with harbs comment on wanting a 3rd back

1. Our wish list this year seems to be the same as last year.

2. MY wish list: D-line, outside linebacker, CB, inside linebacker, o-line. I would add WR to the list, but our record on drafting WRs has been pretty dismal since, well, forever!

Forgot to add: I think we're fine with running backs, it's the o-line that needs improvement, at both run-blocking and pass protection (or, maybe a new o-line coach?).

love this thought about marshall. He doesn't want money but wants to win. Sounds like an Ozzie move to me. I think we are more likely to land Kenny Stills though a good WR no ones talking about.

That's a lot to upgrade ... particularly since we've been netting about 1 or maybe 2 starters per draft of late. Gonna have to get really creative with bringing in low cost starter quality players ... which is easier said than done.

He doesn't make much more plays when he gets on the field either.

I could be wrong but from the outside looking in, I think that HC John Harbaugh is the problem. The identity of this team has been missing and inconsistent since Ray Lewis left. That is a sign that the COACHES we have are not suitable.

Harbaugh didn't mention it but we need 2 safeties and I think your right we need to make a splash in free agency to win now and not some older over priced FA

Z smith cant make plays when he never gets on the field

"Z Smith" got his butt manhandled against the Steelers front line. This died was literally taking steps backwards!! So don't give me that "oh he not on the field BS". He has been on the field plenty, he just rarely makes plays. I said last season that his small lower body wouldn't balance out right for our defense.

At this point I would rather have stills

I think when doom Suggs Kamalei and Kafusi heal up and team up with matt judon our pass rush will be just fine. I don't see a CB worth a no.16 draft pick so well probably sign some one in FA. I really see us getting either  dynamic RB like Cook or a monster prospect WR like corey davis. Im so excited to take a RB or WR in the first round. We need to get some flacco some weapons.

The reason the Ravens don't have playmakers is that they don't draft any. There's a tremendous drop-off in talent between the first and fourth rounds, yet amassing fourth round picks seems more important. They had the same needs before the last draft. What happened?

Z Smith needs some legitimate pass rushing moves. I know this says "back" on track, but a lot of his sacks last year were twists; where he would come up the middle unblocked. Judon could use a few movies himself but over the season he proved that he was a better option than Smith. He has ridiculously heavy hands and when he uses them the right way he can be dangerous.  I also hope Carl Davis is hungry. It was clear even before he was put on IR that Pierce jumped him on the depth chart and work ethic was one of the reasons he fell in the draft.  Him not being able to play for a prolonged period of time worries me.

Jabrill Peppers in the 1st rd, we need players capable of being game changers, not just playmakers.

So much better options in this 2017 draft i understand the kid can play but he was way over hyped in comparison to his peers. Watch some tape on Corey Davis , Malik hooker , or even some of the edge rushers in Malik Mcdowell , Tim Williams i think you will be a lot more excited about those guys then the peppers tape.

A new OC and DC is a practical start. Seems like New England can get production with less brand name talent.

Absolutely.

I also approve of your board user name. Cheers!
