Surprised nobody mentioned Ducasse. He is horrible. He allowed at least one sack and many pressures until I stopped watching him because he was so bad.

Nobody expected much from the dude.

So do we know what the SOS is for these teams? I can't seem to find that. ESPN has one but it only does the worst 10 teams.

Yep, and we've just moved up to the #16 overall pick.

Not known for his pass blocking.  Only saw the little bit on redzone but what was the OL lineup?  Saw Lewis out there for that idiotic pass.

He's as up and down as it gets.  He's had some awful games and some really strong games.

Pees has to go. I don't see how they keep him. In the final stretch we gave up over 400 yards a game. Over 100 yards to Rb in the final four games. I don't care if the D was ranked first all season when they needed close out games they couldn't. Many who defend Pees say he doesn't tell his players to play 10-15 yards off. But obviously he is not doing anything to correct it. When even the announcers point how far back they are playing then it is a problem.

I gained a lot of respect for Harbaugh last year when he kept a team full of backups playing hard right to the end. Then this year and this game happened. Maybe a fresh start at HC wouldnt be the worst thing for this team. I don't know anymore. I do know that if I heard marty and/or pees are. gone I would be excited for next season. If I heard Flacco and/or Harbaugh were gone I would feel angst. They aren't great but it could be worse.

Once again every Ravens Bengals game we make it easy for Dalton and hard on Flacco in terms of pass rush/pass pro and Coverage/WR separation, difference is night and day , been this way for 5 years now

The good has to start with Ronnie Stanley. Just dominant play today and played better each of the last five weeks.

Another clear bright spot(s) is our running back tandem. Campanaro has been an improvement in the return game.

The lack of any pressure is alarming. Getting run on is embarrassing. If Harbaugh goes to bat for retaining Pees, Bisciotti should insist Pees go. This defense needs a fresh approach. It needs a coordinator who looks at Corre(for example), and knows how to accentuate what he does well and exactly how to get the most out of him.

Harbaughs challenges.....don't even know what to say.

Going forward into next season, Flacco cannot effectively lead this team if he doesn't play better. We need better than two great games out of sixteen.

Again, no adjustments for the Bengals scheme.......which has flummoxed Flacco continually.

The truth is that, organizationally, losing this game is preferable to winning, so...

Right but he was clearly a major contributing factor with the sacks and hits Flacco took that possibly lost us the game.  Don't get me wrong because Flacco had issues but I watched guys just going unblocked past Ducasse who looked like he had no idea what he was doing out there.

He was bad even in the run game today. He was really bad and it was surprising how horrible he was. He was worse than James Hurst. He allowed defenders to slip by untouched to get TFL. I believe that's what happened on that play by Dansby earlier in the game.

That's for sure. He needs to go and never come back.

If you're going to make the announcement that you're playing to win & play your starters - then you better actually play to win!

Pathetic send off for a great one, Ravens. Pathetic.

Thanks for everything Smith SR!

They didn't put any heart into this game. Should have just pulled the starters and played backups who would have at least tried.

alas we did not have the depth to play backups

Harbaugh has been losing the team for years, it started Year 5 when Reed and Pollard started the mutiny, they knew they were wasting their last years and needed something to chance. Luckily for Harbaugh Reed left and then Pollard was purged (even though he was still a quality player)

Don't forget a few years ago when he was using STICKERS as motivation in practice as if he was coaching peewee football

Hes all talk, always has been.

harball is passe

Three weeks in a row now the so called "#1 Run D" has looked like trash

Why is Dean Pees still here? I don't care about looking good statistically against garbage teams I want a defense that can win

harball can turn that no stop the run defense around next year!!!!!

This was Harbaugh's best coached game.  Make the team look inept.  You play possum them jump out the gate next year, with better draft position.

lol

It was a horrible day for the defense. No turnovers, didn't get much stops and had no energy. We let Rex Burkhead of all people drop 100 and 2 TDs on us. Think about that, REX BURKHEAD.

lol well put, we started Rex Burkhead's hall of fame career!!!!!1

I had mixed feelings about Dean Pees but today I think that's gone. I believe Pees should be let go and we should get new coaches doing the offensive and defensive play calling next season.

don't put it on pees if harball isn't gone we are in trouble

Since 2012, the Ravens have gone 31-33. They are what their record says they are: a mediocre team.

we are the illustrative mediocre team that can't stop the run and that has a weak secondary

If only he could run routes consistently.  That one flat route he ran on what I believe was his first target was very, very bad.  Hopefully a full offseason of work will help him develop there.

Our best bet to make the postseason next year: 1) hope Pagano gets fired AND agrees to rejoin the Ravens as DC, then 2) Hope we can convince Kubiak to return as OC.

Otherwise, I think next year won't be much different from this year. Sadly, I think it's highly unlikely that we'll see either Pagano or Kubiak with the Ravens again.

it would be great to get kubiak back as oc or better yet head coach, but i want him to retire and guard his health.   I'm for hiring shanahan as head coach and allowing some young blood to chose modern coordinators.

what's his cancer status.....cancer can come and go and we don't want to have a coordinator that may have to miss time or worse case scenario no longer be alive.

LOL, it does not matter if he is free in space or not. How many times have receivers been open and just need to be led to keep stride for nice gains and Flacco either under throws it, over throws it ? Hard to gauge a receiver in any type of way when you have a QB that was so off as Flacco was this year. Joe always threw a pretty deep ball but this year he played like crap and no matter what receivers we had it would have been useless. I hope he comes back close to normal next year

I honestly feel bad for SSS, he did not deserve to go without a ring and he ended up with us in our temporary slump.

That about takes the cake as the most insensitive thing I ever read on this forum.  You really should take a hard look at your priorities.

This game means nothing except that is was a microcosm and brutal demonstration of our season's defining flaws, we knew our needs and weaknesses coming in and this game didn't change any of that.

Get better on both lines.

Get rid of the 'Good' part of the title ASAP! There was nothing good about the performance today. Only ugly and terrible. We suck but that's okay because it'll force Bisciotti to rid the team of ineffective coaches, personnel and players pronto!

Ravens finish 8-8.

So, the team wins 3 more games than they did last season, miss the playoffs again and we're still talking about the same issues in here over and over and over again.  That's brutal! :toilet:
