What changes are coming for the Ravens? will we have a new OC or DC, maybe new GM. I am sure some changes are in the workings for next year. Will we keep #98?

It doesn't change much. At worst they get Allen rather than Garrett.

as a huge allen fan, id say thats quite the drop off.

I guess if they had a hard time getting "UP" after the loss to the Steelers I guess they should have done their job last week and earlier in the season. Today they looked like  caged mice waitng to be fed to the snake.

That's his job to make sure they're not down.

I still think he's safe this year, but his seat should be feeling very warm entering next season.

I don't see how steve could let  him stay.  Those decisions for 2 years in a row during games has cost how  many games (I forget)?  What player could go out and play good while he gives away their efforts on the field???

Since 2012, the Ravens have gone 31-33. They are what their record says they are: a mediocre team.

And thats why i think its time for Harbaugh to go. Time to clean house. This losing is getting stale.

Ugly season but on the bright side we've successfully ousted the west coast offense from B-more. We've avoided paying Williams too money and we've found our next RB, Slot CB and a potentially great  young LT.

The run D the last 5 weeks justifies a lesser contract for Williams and Jernigan, I agree, same with the pathetic interior and exterior pressure from everyone else.

SOS, coin flip.

So do we know what the SOS is for these teams? I can't seem to find that. ESPN has one but it only does the worst 10 teams.

You're tired of the losing? We're just getting started, fam. Rumor has it we're hiring Greg Roman as OC next season instead of Mike McCoy or any of the actually sane options. Harbaugh's Losing Train has no brakes!

I think that's a great observation.  During the game I said that the players hear the same rumors we do.  They suspect coaches may be fired and players let go.  They were playing scared and tight.

I honestly would have liked to see some of our younger guys play and see what they can do against a division rival. just to get a jump on possibly what we have in younger talent.

This doesn't fit any of the draft threads and I'm not sure where else to ask. We have several teams looking to go 8-8. Obviously want to drop under them and pick higher in the draft. Here's what we have:

TEN, Indy and  MIN are already at 8-8. Hoping to see DEN and NO join the fun.

Any idea how the tiebreakers work here?

Agreed, why didn't Keenan Reynolds get on the field and show what he can do?

my guess is they needed to give flacco some practice time as he's so shaky.  or they didn't want sss to have to play his last game with all 2nd stringers around him

Cause these present Ravens coaches don't know how to "develop" young talent!

Aiken stumbling and the refs cost Flacco 2 TDs and added a pick, typical

just announced kubiak is retiring from broncos, maybe he'd like the oc job again:)

As great as that would be, I doubt it will happen. Kubiak's stepping down due to health concerns, which likely means he won't be coaching anywhere after he retires.

Harbaugh just said he felt the team had a hard time getting "up" after last week's loss.

lol man HARBS dont never just say what is right regardless if the performance is pathetic i mean look at this quote too

Harbaugh: "We did not play well, especially in the first half. I'm proud of the way they worked though. We're going forward from here."

Tunnel vision but in all fairness he had Black and orange jerseys in his face pretty much all game long and pretty much no help from his WR's getting open down field

How dare you interject truth into this thread.

I cannot understand why wright and company are playing 10 yards off on 3rd down. if it was green or AB ok. But this was against lower competiton.

Why do they have to max protect on 4th down and send only two wr on go routes.

In my mother tongue we say "a fish rots from the head down", I don't know if this proverb exists in English. But Harbaugh's talk about how they aren't quitting etc is a joke. Dixon, West and SSR were the only guys showing up. The bengals were in the same situation and had the right mindset. As much as I respect and appreciate Harbaugh's merits think he doesn't survive another 3-4 game losing streak.

Can't wait for Harbaugh presser. What will be the excuse now? Looks like he is losing the team.

This is like Tomlins "raise hell" comment a few years back.

Just one of the plain UGLIEST, uninspired, pride-less, defeated and disenfranchised efforts I've ever seen from our franchise. And the mere fact that it was Steve Smith Sr.'s last NFL game makes it UNPRECEDENTEDLY heartless.

We've been coming into games flat while closing out this season (Patriots, Eagles and Steelers) and failing to putting together 4 quarters of winning football, but this game....we lacked competitive focus throughout. Breaks my heart.

The Good: We have the building blocks (or more appropriately based on this season "rebuilding blocks") to right the ship, but we need our nastiness back. There's talent, but it's obviously going to take more to get it back to 'Playing Like Ravens' literally.

Please no more excuses for Joe. He was bad today. He was mostly bad this year. Circumstances don't conspire against Joe the way you believe they do.

I am curious who you see as building blocks.

What is the "true" meaning of that motto or creed?

Surely, it can't be this junk we've witnessed this season, let alone this game vs the Bengals today?

Surprised nobody mentioned Ducasse. He is horrible. He allowed at least one sack and many pressures until I stopped watching him because he was so bad.

Take that 1st sentence and flip it around (Inspired, pride-full, no-quit and all-out competitive effort with a touch of nastiness added.).
