"Was he one of the top 5 receivers in the NFL in a season?"

Did you watch 2005...?

Not to mention his level of play this late in his career.

I know this game was meaningless, but I still think we might have lost this game even if we beat the Steelers last week.

Probably, run D has been terrible the last 5 weeks

Goodbye Mallett.  What is going to happen to Tyrod now that he has some experience?

Hard to see SSS sitting on the bench with a towel over his head!!!  The Ravens should be ashamed for not getting him more involved in this game plan today...at least he comes to play!

Please. You Pees apologists. Explain this. A no name ran for 119 yards over his vaunted run D, and overall D which has dropped like a rock over the past 6 weeks.

Cool if you blame Bwill for redzone picks?

Blame joe for not being open all game. Blame joe for sending smith and Aiken deep all year instead of Wallace or perriman. Blame joe for shaving points off the board early in the season. Blame joe for dropped passes all season. Blame joe for being joe. Get over it flaccos our guy period. Also blame joe for that under throw by mallett for a pick lol

Every player and coach should be in line to apologize to him for this travesty.

DL looks gassed and as bad as it is, Pees has done really well with the DL in terms of pinches and gap attacks. I personally think they should be playing less snaps, offense does nothing what so ever to help this defense out.

This will be the largest deficit in loss for Ravens this year.  All their losses (except for Dallas) were within one score.  That tells me that this team is not too far off. A little improvement here and there will have them in contention.

Yeah, they were just missing a couple pieces on the O line, a playmaker, a pass rush, and some more help in the secondary. Pretty telling that they were right there in all of those losses to playoff teams. Definitely no need to blow up the whole team/coaching staff.

I just can't believe Simms would actually say that. Like, I get he was playing during SSS's dominant years, but dude, seriously? I'm sure he thrashed your Bucs more than a few times.

Ravens game plan: Let's send SSS out with a bang by throwing to Pitta all day long, laying eggs in the red zone, letting Rex Burkhead shred the interior (bye, Brandon), and watching Flacco play another wonderfully mediocre game. Great job, Ravens. Very proud of your effort today.

Sorry, Steve Smith, that we suck, and didn't even give you a taste of success. Best wishes to you.

Congratulations Steve Smith!  The man has a lot heart.  Truly, he played like a "RAVENS".
