UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

that was just stupid from the outset everyone could see he was worth the contract especially given what much worse qbs got and how hard it is to find one, so once they didnt pay him 20 mill per last year they now have to pay him 24 this year and he probably wont stay unless they make him the highest paid qb by a country mile

Yea so in 2 years hes going to make about 42mill-ish.  Also looks like he wont have two of his best weapons back, so maybe he has a down year, but some other team will pay him an insane amounts of money.  Theres no reason to sign with them no and just test FA next year...

essentially hes making a fortune and then he's going to go wherever he wants to go for pretty much however much money he wants too - probably 49ers and shanahan with both cap space, a vacancy, a previous good relationship, and a blank slate probably

Yea I think that's everyone's prediction.  If the 49ers could trade that number 2 pick and load up on some, they could be sitting very nice for the future come next year.

oh their roster is so thin they are going to have to load up over multiple drafts... they have maybe the worst roster in the league and im not sure its close

Ozzie has has some good drafts and bad drafts like many GM's .

Most NFL observers think he is one of the best GM's and they know much more about football

than I do.

Cody,Kid who busted his head -Bad Draft.

Flacco, Rice draft -Good Draft.

I think last year's draft will work out pretty well.

Oh don't get me wrong, that team isn't going anywhere anytime soon, but they could have some good building blocks to start with.  Without a franchise QB its almost pointless

i think they have so little that its almost pointless bother getting a qb this year - if they end up with the 1st pick next year they could grab cousins and then trade back for a team that really needs/wants sam darnold etc. - i dunno they have options but they only have these options because they have literally zero talent and they dont even have a ton of draft picks like the browns and titans

Ozzie is human, but at least he gets it right unlike whoever is running the Browns.

Browns Last 5 years of 1st Rounders:

2012 Trent Richardson - RB - BUST
2012 Brandon Weeden - QB - BUST
2013 Barkevious Mingo - OLB - BUST
2014 Justin Gilbert       -  CB - BUST
2014 Johnny Manziel   -  QB - BUST
2015 Danny Shelton     -  DT - Solid
2015 Cameron Erving  -   C - Positional Bust
2016 Corey Coleman   -  WR - Injury Bug

Ozzie can't screw up that many 1st rounders.

What team has drafted the most pro bowlers since 08 the start of the Harbaugh era? Any stat gurus out there?

depends on how you measure, do you mean like any player who makes the pro bowl once or does every time a player makes the pro bowl count separately - do you get bonus points, for example, for tyron smith's multiple pro bowls/ all-pros or does he count the same as tyrod taylor because i imagine that would grossly affect the stats, likewise whether they had the pro bowl while playing for you - so in tyrod's case would he count for the bills or ravens because he became a pro bowler at the bills but was drafted by the ravens... you have to qualify these before you get relevant/accurate stats
