UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

APPRECIATION THREAD: Joe Flacco was a couple of possessions away from being in 4 Superbowls in 8 years!!!!

Ryan played a great game. That falls on the OC calling pass plays when 3 run plays would have given them a near perfect chance of winning, and the center getting dropped into Ryan's lap on a 7 step drop.

He played a great first half......second half? Not so great.

TBH I don't really disagree with your statement about the OC and pass rush. But similar happens to Joe and I guarantee the banter here is "Flacco should have thrown the ball away and not taken the sack". and "he's an 8 year veteran, not a rookie. Can't he audible to run plays?"   Guarawnteeed.

Did you really write that the Ravens have consistently done more for Flacco than the Falcons have for Ryan? wowzer!

And you are writing other things here and not understanding(maybe purposely) what you are writing. Boldin was here for 3 years and has been gone for 4. We won a SB in one of those years and were very competitive in the other two. Flacco and SSS had a good year in 2014, almost made it to the SB. 2015, 2016, injuries. Williams, Perriman and Gillmore probably haven't played a seasons worth of games between them. What is so hard to understand?

I really have no interest in taking the time to disprove it, but your subjective hypothesis that "many, many teams are worse off" really has no bearing on matters. Fact is if the Ravens want to get back on top there's going to have to be improvements on offense in more areas than just the play of the QB.

It's maddening how blind some of our fanbase is, I love when people yell Boldin in response to Joe never having weapons, they're actually proving the point, the 3 years with Boldin were all good seasons and should of resulted in 2 super bowl appearances.

Also guarantee the Falcon's fanbase isn't blaming Ryan like our ungrateful fanbase would Flacco.

Ryan didn't have any worse a second than flacco had in the super bowl. The difference was play calling in the biggest moments.

But I fully agree with the end of your post. If birk had gotten shoved into flaccos lap on his 3rd and 1 audible it would've been flaccos fault according to most.

Like its Hurst's fault that Joe got injured.

Hurst and Jensen combined. I don't know if you're blaming joe for his injury or being sarcastic lol but that was 100% on his left side protection

How is the fanbase ungrateful for Flacco?  Should we be grateful for a guy that has played decent or better in only  4 seasons of his career here?

He should be grateful for the players that made him shine during his SB run.
