Safety Eric Weddle said players’ characters are on the line in a so-called meaningless game in Cincinnati. Linebacker Terrell Suggs said every Sunday should be cherished. Quarterback Joe Flacco sees Sunday as another chance to play the game he loves.

Blow a Knee out then talk about Character. The only guys that should play are those that never got to play this year for what ever reason.

I feel bad for SSS.
The guy worked his tail off to come back from blowing up his Achilles and played better than all the younger receivers on the team, again...
I really wanted him to get a chance to play in the post season with this team.
Looks like he will have to be happy with one day being inducted in to the HOF. I can't think of anyone on the team I would like to see get a chance at a Superbowl more than Smitty.

Why is it that we always have to finish our season on the road in Cincinnati? All the while, Cincinnati and Pittsburg get there final games at home. Is there a little bit of schedule favoritism going on here or are the NFL schedule makers just that stupid that they don't realize they keep doing the same thing over and over and over.

Agreed - love having the division games to end the season (often decides who will win the division), but come on, alternate it each year so each team visits the other city at the end of the year.

Let's play to win, and see if Marty can have another good game plan like last week. I do think it would be a good idea for Suggs and Yanda to depart early for offseason surgery (biceps, shoulder) and for Joe to perhaps sit this one out.

Ravens always get the Short end of the stick. I'd like to see a Monday Night Game in Baltimore Someday.

Whats worse is that Pittsburgh gets to finish the year at Home against Cleveland 4 out of the last 5 years.

Why of course. We seem to revel being just a tad over the mediocre line- just as we tend to barely win when winning is the case. Lets play the character card for our brainwashed fans.
"PLAY" like a Raven. OK......

Roger that.! The are afraid that Mallett will have a blow-out victory. God forbid we have ANY controversy. .....just like Harbs did not want to over rule Martys call against Philly. Gimme a break. FO: Enjoy your character-bologna

Being that the Ravens - Squealers game broke all the NFL Network viewing records, I'm sure that both of those games will be in primetime next year.

Don't understand the logic in playing the starters, if you're thinking about the future, makes sense to take the L. Move up a few slots in the upcoming draft, winning could potentially miss out on a potential franchise player, this "character" game is pointless

start mallett and start every young player on the roster. right now we have the 17th pick in the draft which is not good enough to draft a top cb/pass rusher. losing will put us in better position. forget pride. lets not risk stupid injuries to our more valuable players in a meaningless game.

I don't think Losing should even be talked about. The Patriots have won over 10 games for 13 straight years and have lost 2 first round picks to cheating and they always find players. I'm thinking the Position of the draft isn't the Problem it is "Ozzie not pulling the trigger to move up in the Draft". He likes to move back and get picks which he did last year, but he needs to move up and get an impact player. If he used the 3rd round pick to move up in the first round we would have Ramsey instead of Kaufusi on IR. He also failed to move up in the Draft in 2010 and he missed out on Gronkowski and Dez Bryant .He needs to use a 2nd or 3rd round pick to move up in the 1st round .We need a CB, Center and a Pass Rusher.

"Don't understand the logic" Fans have been saying that for years with this team.

Don't understand your logic. Maybe you should check your character as a fan. I've heard it all now. Go Ravens.

I want to see what happens with this teams coaching staff, personnel, during the offseason , not really worried whether we win or lose Sunday. I appreciate how Suggs and Weddle feel, however

Play for "CHARACTER" That just about takes it all. Play like crap in the last quarter all season and then make that statement about the last game. The whole damned team is in denial. Harbs talks Politically Correct crap after each game and talks about how good the team played even though they crashed and lost the ones that they should never had lost a lead in. The "castle" is not a training facility any longer. It has turned into Camelot for many of these guys and they know it. Time for a massive purge including those under achieving coaches that Harbs has gathered. How much longer are we going to be subjected to this sorry effort? Harbaugh looks disgusted on the sideline each week now, but when he gets to a camera after the game he is full of praise. What kind of message is that ?

My character is fine, just makes no sense to win what gain is there in winning? We can possibly be at the 12th spot in the draft with a loss or could possibly end up at 21 in the draft with a win. This season is over, im thinking of the future and a loss will give us a better chance at getting a great player.
