Thank you. Y'all can neg me all you want, but if you're cool with having mediocrity on this team, then that's your problem (not directed towards you, redrum52). Get  Alshon.

Just still blows my mind.  Clearly the talent is there but with how people have killed BP because of his injury, now imagine a guy getting 10+ mill a year and him having numerous injuries in a season.

Im not necessarily on the get Alshon train either.  Wouldn't mind moving our 2nd (which have neem so successful recently) if a team is willing, for any of the positions we need.

Agree.  Too much of a risk.  Injury concerns and a PED violation.  The way qe miss bug buys in big games already.  Would love to see how hes treated when he misses a stretch and the Ozzie complaints.

I hope they keep Wallace if they get him cheap..he still has great #2 deep threat potential. Hopefully Perriman gets better.

If we keep Wallace, it will be at a $5.75M compensation amount with an $8M cap hit. Will be one of the five biggest cap numbers on the team most likely.

It would go something like this.

We sign Alshon: Holy crap an elite wr. Best we we've ever signed. Ozzie is a genius.

*alshon tears his ACL*

Aftermath: Damn you Harbaugh for making him injury prone. And damn you Ozzie because you're an Idiot. Let's throw batteries at people and overrun the ravens organization so the fans run this team.

me: *crylaughs*

Dead money if we let him go?

I like Wallace, but not at that price. He's kind of limited and often just disappears.

Would love to have Brandon Marshall here. Would solve a lot of our issues, I think he's exactly what we need in a red-zone WR. Similar to Anquan IMO.

I'm pretty sure it's a 5.75m cap savings if we release Wallace. Given a 8m salary that almost guarantees he'll be released and than possibly brought back at a cheaper rate, if they want to.

$2.25M in dead money, $5.75M in cap savings.

I think the issue with letting him go is the lack of replacement options, or at least at this point.

In theory, if Pitta doesn't return either (which is not guaranteed), you're basically losing your top 3 options in the passing game at that point.

I fully expect Wallace to be back.

I'd drop Wallace without hesitation if it meant making room for Garçon. That may be a moot point though as the Skins will probably make a strong play to keep him.

I'm just saying that because everyone and their mom on here wants Britt but if Marshall becomes available, I hope we grab him.

Yea I'm the one who brought up Britt,  but you also have to look at the difference and use logic.  Britt would most likely be 10x cheaper,  also,  everyone always complains about bringing in aging vets,  marshal is 33 in three months and would cost a lot.  Britt is more logical for this team.  I predicted Marshall was going to follow trestman here... I was wrong.
