Who do you think we go with as a clear cut #1 in 2-3 years? Or do we stick to the 1-2 punch we have now?

I feel for the most part it will be a 1-2 punch as long as this staff remains. Bring in another coaching staff and things may change. Maybe even dramatically.

2-3 years from now I hope we've rebuilt a strong oline so whoever is in the backfield can thrive. As for West or Dixon? theyre not exactly studs but theyre capable.

West has excellent vision and elusiveness and Dixon just won't go down. I think we'll see a timeshare in the backfield, and I'm okay with that.

As much as I like Dixon I'm hoping we can land a real difference maker at RB. Hopefully fournette falls but knowing us we'd probably pass on him too and draft some project.

The Ravens never seem to have had trouble getting a decent RB. Some picks don't work out (Pierce, Taliaferro) but more often than not there has been good production from the draft picks at that position. I think that another offseason from Stanley and Lewis along with a healthier Yanda will do wonders for the run game more than anything.

Dixon will be the bell cow work horse and west will be the goal line short yardage bulldozer. Dixon Is the real deal fellas. Did you see how many Steelers it took to even slow him down? And he still kept pushing the pile and never went down. He did that like 4 times Sunday. If he would've started the season healthy he'd be even farther along. Can't wait till next year. Bolster the center position and resign Wagner and we're sitting pretty with Stanley, Lewis, ( ? ) Yanda and Wagner. We could take a page out the cowboys book, and if perriman takes the next step the skys the limit. Trying not to sip the purple sizzurp but can't help but look forward to next year.

West is a good back up but honestly Dixon breaks just as many tackles as West and is faster and cuts through holes faster. He is also better in passing situations. West is solid as well and maybe he takes another step forward next year who knows what happens. My money is on Dixon I don't think I have been so excited watching a running back play in awhile. I don't understand how he is so small and still drives 10 people with him.

1-2 punch West looked good this year and I honestly remember thinking he was going to be just camp RB depth then cut to make it to the final 53 guys but West played hard and ran hard even when the o-line was not really run blocking that well West ran hard. Dixon showed he has game and ran hard too I think they compliment each other well and are in my personal opinion the best 2 backs we have on the team right now some of the others I would not be surprised to see let go next season. You need at least 2 backs in this league and our division. So for 2017 season 1-2 punch West and Dixon but 2-3 years from now that's hard because so many things factor in to decide that Injuries, coaching staff, draft younger guys and offensive scheme. Who is going to be the offensive coordinator in 2-3 years? So I believe next season in 2017 West Dixon probably 1-2 punch but after that ?????
