I mean, I can understand the thought process, but I don't see how you saw nothing spectacular.  It was a season marred by drops for him, but he had some insane catches at big moments in games.

That statement says it all.

Fair but I think we have a good D our offense has so me potential with maybe a KD breakout coming I think adding one could do wonders for us

Good D?  You mean that monstrosity that gave up 3 touchdowns in the 4th quarter Sunday afternoon and that couldn't get a sack on Big Ben to save their lives? That's a good D?  If that's a good D, I'd hate to see what a horrible one looks like.

P.S. Yes!  I'm still pissed by Sunday's loss that shouldn't have happened...but it did. So my responses may be filled with venom towards our boys at the moment. I should be fine by this weekend! :D

I can't argue with you there I think I shifted my focus to next year last night I had to let it go before it ate me up 😂😂 but yes for the most part dare I say we have the pieces if we beef up some week spots a bit

Will Flacco ever have WRs/TEs that don't let him down? The one time they came through Flacco got criticized as being bailed out by them, so tired of our biggest losses being defined by plays not made by a pass catcher, it has really gotten old.

Ben throws short of the end zone, time would have expired, he throws to AB triple teamed who gets in for him, Ben the hero.

100% agree but Watson and pitta next year should be a nice 1-2 punch Twest and KD should be nice with KD taking over we just need that's WR and I'd be hopeful next year could be a huge year for the offense............. I'll wait for someone to crucify me for optimism

I think the biggest thing the team needs right now is a receiver. Mike Wallace is great but won't ever be a #1. Whether it is Breshad Perriman taking the next step or signing Garcon or Marshall via free agency.... I also think a big thing will be to upgrade the offensive line.

I also think the switch to a different system would help. I really do believe this season was a complete waste because of the Trestman system put into place. It makes me wonder where the team would've gone with a different coordinator at he helm and a different system. The running backs showed glimpses and it hurt watching Dixon have to break 2 tackles and truck a guy to gain positive yards. This was even when the team was pass heavy from the get go and you would think there would be less players in the box. But no...

And on defense the biggest thing is depth. Pass rushers and cornerbacks are a must. I think the biggest disappointment was the good start to the interior pass rush and then it disappeared after the first 5 games or so. Plus the team always fell apart once Jimmy Smith left. His health cannot be counted on and the team needs to find another big corner to put on the outside. The team's corners are too small and too slow when Jimmy Smith leaves the field.

Yeah that's why I'm saying a WR and a CB in my opinion draft a pass rusher or let judon get some more snaps I really honestly think a healthy Suggs and doom will still be good but I could be wrong

Yeah I agree that their presence will be felt but I could see the team cutting Dumervil for cap space if they don't think he can produce like he used to with his injury. He looked pretty lackluster in his short time back. I think people seem to forget Suggs was getting pressure with a torn bicep in his mid 30's... I think he has another good year or two left in him. But he needs help. Jernigan looked like the next the next freaking Michael Bennett for a solid 4 or 5 games then disappeared for the rest of time. The linebackers and safeties are looking good heading into the next season. Definitely need height at corner position just in case Jimmy Smith goes down. What ever happened to Sheldon Price? He looked good for a bit and then fell off the face of the Earth.

I think the main thing we have to learn to do is to not worry so much about comp picks.  There are a lot of good players out there that we've passed on solely because we opted for someone else's discard.  It works sometimes, but other times, you have to pick the best player.  Just a couple of years back, we opted not to pay Julian Edelman or Emanuel Sanders $5M/year because we thought we could get Campanaro at the same value in the draft.  I bet they're regretting that decision right now.

That's so sad. This damn team needs to stop being so stingy and sign some proven, young playmakers instead of over-the-hill veterans or hoping we find a gem in the draft because we can't develop WR's at all. T. J. Houshmandzadeh, Brandon Stokley, Owen Daniels, Benjamin Watson (I will never for the life of me understand this signing. You have Maxx, Waller, Boyle, Crockett and Pitta. Yea, let's stunt the growth of the first two), etc. I remember when everyone laughed because Atlanta gave up almost everything to get Julio Jones. Yea, they sucked for a couple seasons because lack of depth, but who's laughing now? Matt Ryan could very well be the MVP because he's surrounded by studs. It's infuriating. Meanwhile, we missed the playoffs two years in a row and our best WR is 37 and about to play his last game this Sunday.

I didn't see a goodbye? And there Is one more game left in the season... Not saying he won't but who knows what he will decide to do. Maybe he'll want to shove in Rodney Harrison's face that he can still ball at 38...and possibly try to go for 15k yds...some might say its best for him to go...I'm not one of those people. We can let Wallace and perriman be the #1 and #2 and he can strictly be a third down WR to keep him fresh.

You just said it all...nobody ever steps up for flacco.. He takes all the flack..even when he puts us in position to win even after there were a few dropped potential tds that Joe put right on the money. You see all these other receivers in the league getting all this YAC and making one hand catches. So frustrating.

I hear you bro..I haven't done any of my weekly routine watching mike and mike, any other games...any Pressers...this taste in my mouth just won't go away. I feel so bad for juice. He thought he was the hero and then gets let down by the D...such a shame.

No clue. Every elite QB has at least 1 great receiver. Brady has edelman, Rodgers has Jordy, heck even Winston has Mike Evans.

I truly believe that's the one position the scouts and Oz have a hard time figuring out and thats why they get them in free agency. For example Atlanta traded away quite a bit to get Julio. Was he worth it? YES!!! Flacco has had great WR's here but all were a little older Mason came in and made some great plays. Boldin  made some big plays too then they traded him away over a little bit of $ and S. Smith has heart and great talent but all were a little older when they got to Baltimore.

I would like to see at least 1 or 2 more young o-line get drafted for the future a safety to go along with Weddle and decent back-ups for J.Smith and Young who should both be the starters next season.

Yeah, as often happens that journalist made an assumption based on his interpretation of what Smitty said, obviously to get clicks. He may very well do so, but Smitty did not announce his retirement.

Do we give pees the benefit of the doubt since the defense was great all year minus the last 1/4 of the season and give him another year to keep up the continuity-or Promote Leslie Frazier to DC?  or bring in some new blood all together?

I don't think many believe In Marty for OC but do we really Want ANOTHER change and if so what are the top options? Norv Turner maybe?

Everyone is calling for Rex around here I like pees but wouldn't be upset with someone new I guess that's probably a conversation John has with sizzle weddle and Mosley about what they want

The players seemed to come around on Dean throughout the year-esp sizzle. They all praised him pretty often. Not sure if they feel the same though after the way the season ended.

I agree and I'm a guy who goes big on player opinions not media and fans and he gets a lot of praise from the players but as much as I think he deserves another year I am sick of the blown leads in the second half because of conservative D that's one thing that seems to be a theme and never was until Pagano was gone

Yep, I think that 4th quarter meltdown was 75% his fault. We tried so hard to prevent the big deep splash play that we were scared to be aggressive and just go after them.  Giving the receivers 7 yard cushions?  guys like AB and Ben will eat that up all day long. One tipped ball or interception on that last drive and we'd be in the driver seat right now talking about who was going to come to the bank as the wildcard. Instead we have to talk about next year and watch the Steelers carry on BC we played to not lose instead of playing to win, a reoccuring theme this year.

I think that's been a theme long enough that I wouldn't mind someone proven like Rex coming but idk still feel like he deserves more time that's a tough one but I do think this offense needs to keep Marty we need to not switch everything again give him a full offseason with his spin on the offense I think Marty deserves to stay put

If we keep Pees, we have to find another elite corner to back up Jimmy.....cuz his defense is all about one shutdown corner.....

If you watch the game, we rarely send help over Jimmy's side so LBs and corner can support the run and play one side zone defense.  We are #1 run defense and 10 against the pass when Jimmy on the field cuz LB and CB can play at the line of the scrimmage without worrying on Jimmy's side....

We just need another clone of Jimmy Smith and it's gonna be costly.....

STEPHON GILMORE I've been saying this if we can let Tavon in the slot where he belongs and jimmy and Stephone this defense will be deadly and that Alshon signing 😏
