If the Ravens win tomorrow, they can still win the division with a loss to the Bengals if the Squealers lose to the Brownies.

Got to take care of business tomorrow though.

If the Steelers lose to the Browns there will be no NFL playoffs due to the sun colliding with earth.

Just like there is no way an 0-13 Dolphins team led by QB Cleo Lemon could ever beat a Rex Ryan defense with Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Ed Reed & Haoti Ngata in their prime, right?

Look it up. The Ravens were checked out that season. 5-11. FYI

Steelers....big deal, we should beat these bums by 3 TDs. We should dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.....as we have every game for the last 3 years. Pees needs to dial up something special for Big Ben and make him eat dirt every time he drops back. just like the playoff game in 2014.Their offensive line should have no chance against the Ravens front seven which is arguably the best in the NFL.
But the offense has a golden opportunity to shine. With Tuitt and Heyward out they have no D line at all....practice squad players that wouldn't even maje the Ravens 53 man roster. Harrison and Timmons are old and slow...no match for Pitta. Smith, Wallace, Dixon, West or Waller. Joe should have a field day.
No penalties, no turnovers and Tucker......we spank these guys for the 5th time in a row.

Sounds as if you described us being a 12-2 team at this point. We are a VERY MEDIOCRE team right now.

Not today. NFL is week by week. Real fans know this. And we could easily be 12-2 with a couple different bounces. Go root for the Steelers would ya. Sick of our fans pessimism

how about some optimism!! ravens 27 steelers 22. go ravens!!

If being negative is simply telling the truth then I'm guilty. We could easily be 6-8 as well. You are what your record says you are.....kinda mediocre.

I choose to root for the Ravens. Missed about 10 games in Baltimore over the last 20 years driving 250 miles roundtrip. Usually go one or two road games a year and attended both Super Bowls. When we are good I say we are. When we are bad I say the same. When we are middle of the pack, which we are so far I simply tell the truth.

This thread started because I said the sun will collide with the earth if the Browns beat the Steelers next week in Pittsburgh.

At least it's stragihtforward now. It's basically the playoffs starting today for us.

If the guys can't handle this, they don't deserve to be in the playoffs. If they can, they do.

Simple as that.

That about sums it up. Tired of hearing "We could easily be 12-2". We are not 12-2 or even close to that. These next two weeks measures our intensity, guts, and will.

The truth is that the Ravens had a bunch of key players returning from injuries and we were playing without 5 pro bowlers and our starting LT for most of our 4 game losing streak. Since the bye, this team is 5-2, with both losses coming to the #1 seeds. We were a middle of the pack team in the first half of the season. We are much better than that now.

This game will come down to penalties, turnovers, and in-game coaching decisions.  Basically smarts and discipline, and neither team has a clear advantage going into the game.  It will be really interesting to see if this fundamentally flawed Ravens team can elevate its game, and rely on the character of the men drafted by Ozzie and coached by Harbs to find an edge when the pressure is greatest.  Go Ravens!

And yet, we almost gave up a late game lead to Philly last week for bad coaching decisions !
To win out we need to be smart in all 3 phases + coaching !

Let's go Ravens !

T Sizzle / D Vader / Grinch
We need you in Ben's head today...
GO ahead Steel Christmas from Pittsburgh !

The Ravens have no one to blame for this predicament but themselves. Rolling over for the awful N.Y. Jets and losing winnable games to the Redskins and Giants, neither of whom is better than the team the Ravens destroyed, the Miami Dolphins, has them with their backs to the wall. Instead of coasting to a playoff spot, and perhaps the division championship, they have to beat Pittsburgh and probably Cincinnati. If Flacco plays the way he has most of the year, the Ravens are done. His ONLY bright spot came against Miami. Otherwise he was mediocre to downright terrible Joe.

So sorry to hear of your loss my friend. My prayers go out to you and your family.

(ding-dong-ding-dong!)....For all that are into the Christmas cheer and any other type of 'cheer' now is the time- for hell and this Raven season hath no fury! Maybe Santa had loaded his sled with a twist of Raven chicanery for those Squeelers. Round up your coal- from either given or received.....and hide it, yet know where it rests, for the time is nearing (please protect your tv sets / new monitors from flying coal)........... Lets hope that we don't have a silent night!
Go Ravens! Make this happen- IN Pittsburgh for G--sake! If there is a football god- surely he knows the season of suffering that we have endured!
GO RAVENS!

Must win today. Next week isn't a must win yet.

Pretty much next week is a must win. No way the Browns beat the Steelers at Pittsburgh.

Our corners are the reason we've been losing games. The defense is lot different without jimmy smith. Maybe one day we will bring in sum corners an stop neglecting the position.

That one ain't on Flacco. We scored 27 on the Stillers D. We were missing a FG on the first drive, and another on a botched snap, and the Ravens D faded at the end.
