[News] Ravens Activate Brennen Beyer, Place Kamalei Correa On Injured Reserve

23 posts in this topic

What took so long? I wonder if the Ravens will fill the PS spot with a free lance CB. There must be someone out there that has been playing ball that could help this team. Cmon Oz, lets find some help, its no like the teams get easier for the 5 games.

Glad to see Beyer get back on the field... I believe injury has been dragging Correa down... I think this last draft class will go down as one of the best ever for the Ravens (it will be hard/impossible to beat Ogden/Lewis) ... Orr is getting banged up from playing like a madman... It's going to be a great game... Go Ravens!!!

Man, I hope this kid pans out. So tired of us missing on our 2nd round draft choices. Heard it through a good source that this was Harbargh's pick.

They should forbid Ozzie from making second round picks anymore. He has wiffed more times than Chris Davis with second rounders. Since 2010 we have had 8 second round picks.

Winners
1. Torrie Smith
2. K.O.
3. Jernigan

Losers
1. Correa
2. Maxx Williams
3. Arthur Brown
4. Sergio Kindle
5. Terrence (Dog abuser) Cody

When you throw in his other high picks that have bombed out like Elam, Carl Davis, Ed Dickson, Jah Reid, Bernard Pierce and Terrence Brooks. it's no wonder this team has struggled since winning the Super Bowl.

That's every team. 90% of ALL players drafted after pick #45 are BUSTS.

You forget the Ravens drafted 6th... that makes them at #38 for their second round pick. There was incredible talent available at #38.  Ozzie traded back and got still him at #42.

I wouldn't be so soon to count Correa and Williams out. And I wouldn't be so soon to put Sean Davis in but I am going with your logic here.

Sean Davis,
Stephon Tuitt
Leveon Bell
Marcus Gilbert

Senquez Golson
Mike Adams
Jason Worilds
Kraig Urbik

High picks "bombed out" Bud Dupree, Dri Archer, Sean Spence, Curtis Brown, Rishard Mendenhall, Limas Sweed, Jarvis Jones.......
Again, in no way do I think you can call Bud Dupree a bust, but he has contributed just as much as Carl has, and you labled him a bust.  I would also say that If we were doing this at the same time of the year in the 2014 season, Ryan Shazier would also be on the list. You could argue that Worilds made it, but he really didn't do much in his first three years. There are actually a lot of arguments you could make, but I am not necessarily saying that we have done better or worse than the Steelers draft wise.  I am just trying to show that it happens to everyone. I would actually assume that if you did this same type of thing with the Patriots they would look a lot worse than us. And I think Cinci would actually look better. Those are just assumptions though. Just food for thought. Ive actually been pretty bummed out about Korrea myself. Especially after all the hype about how great he was playing. I said it then and Ill say it now, you aren't going to be able to judge how a player is doing when there hasn't been full contact. I think that hype has made his minimal contribution an even more bitter pill to swallow. And I think its more difficult to switch positions to the inside than people realize, but I digress. I wasn't really happy with the pick when we made it either, but I hope he comes through. He needs to develop some strength.

That Correa pick was a cute pick; i.e. I'm smarter than u pick. I bet half the scouting personnel around the NFL never even heard of Kamalei Correa until the Ravens picked him.

Except he was quite often talked about as slipping into the back end of the first round.....Thanks though Chuck

Guys like Beyer always have something to prove. Just like Orr.

Very true! But first he has to dress and second he has to be given an opportunity on the field.

It's funny how many picks taken after Correa worked out really well -- Tavon Young, Matt Judon, Kenneth Dixon, Chris Moore, and the undrafted Michael Pierce. If they were taken ahead of Correa and Kaufusi, everyone would be happy.

Maxx Williams? I loved that pick. He's still young and the Ravens have a slew of TE's. I think he has Jimmy Graham, Dennis Pitta(before his hip) potential. Correa? He's a rookie, give him time. I think he has potential. Arthur Brown wasn't a bad pick to me and a victim of circumstances IMO. He didn't contribute on special teams and Mosley and Daryl Smith weren't coming off the field. Upshaw wasn't a bad pick. The Patriots drafted Hightower before the Ravens. Ravens drafted low profile, athletic(good combines), versatile(ST contributors), High character players and I don't have a problem with any of their picks.

I told you the Ravens nailed this draft! I love being right. I told you this draft was loaded. Look at all the rookies making an impact. It's awesome. I'm always right. 99% of the time.

Most people were shocked that We picked him in the second round. He could've still been there in the 5th.
