The Ravens will be without cornerback Jimmy Smith (ankle) for a second straight game, but the Steelers have some injury concerns of their own with tight end Lardarius Green and wide receiver Sammie Coates.

I do not like Smith being out VS Brown. Ravens need DB help. We have the safety's down now obtain a 6' plus Corner.

Just put Tavon Young on Brown. Brown is only one inch taller than Young so he's our only best corner that we could trust. Luckily Brown isn't 6'0 plus or we would have issues. Shareece Wright or Powers shouldn't be sticking Brown.

Sucks that Jimmy can never stay healthy, he could be elite if he had the durability. Also I feel that if Shareece Wright doesn't show up now we have to move him somewhere, he just got the contract but his play has been horrible

Brown's height is irrelevant. He's one of the best WRs in the league- and covering him with Wright or rookie Tavon Young IS an issue. Too many people get fixated on height and speed but there's a lot more that can make a WR a matchup nightmare. Just ask Steve Smith Sr. For that matter, a DB can be spectacular, despite being under 6 feet. Just ask Ed Reed.

Too bad the FO failed to address this obvious need over the off season. Jimmy Smith has been injury prone for his entire career and we didn't get adequate help to offset the drop-off in talent when he suffers one of his frequent injuries.

Height doesn't matter by talent wise but Tavon Young is the best corner we have after Jimmy Smith. Would you put Shareece Wright or Powers instead?

Ummmm why do you think they brought in Wright? brought in Powers? drafted Tavon Young? Moved Webb to Safety? Brought in Weddle? ALL of this was to improve our secondary.

So you think we got adequate help and there is not a significant drop-off in ability when Jimmy goes down?

Webb & Weddle were great ways to address Safety, so props to the FO there. But moving Webb created a hole at CB which was already weak. I think Jimmy only has one season where he played every game. Wright is inconsistent, Powers is not that good (sorry). That leaves a pretty glaring gap. Oh, Jaylen Ramsey, so close.

Fans are saying the front office brung in guys to improve the secondary. I will give them Gavin young but the other guys are just depth signings not quality starters. Theres just not been enough effort over the years to fix one of the biggest issues we've had. We've lost a lot of games because of horrible comer play an a lack of depth. Our defense would be bananas if we would add atleast one more quality corner. This corner situation has been driving me nutts for year!! Smh

There were a few forces working against us. One PIttsburgh is playing really well and as proven by our last game, us not so much. Two, this game is in Heinz Field and we haven't beaten a team over .500 for a long while on the road. In fact, the last away game we won was against Jacksonville. Three, Jimmy Smith is an essential presence for us to be successful against Brown and company. He isn't available. So its an uphill task to say the least. If we coach like we did against Philly or even play like Joe did, our chances are even further diminished. So, here's to hoping for the improbable and unlikely. The Ravens playing their best game and the Steelers playing their worst. Let's leave everything on the line, and get the most improbable W against the dang Steelers. Let's go and win against all odds! Go Ravens!

I didn't say that...  the original statement was that they didn't address it in the offseason...  I believe it's not an instantaneous process. It takes time.  We have seen that otherwise in other positions.

Kamalei Correa.....our next Arthur Brown.

I wonder why they draft him as l was shocked, they could've use that pick on a corner or Noah Spence. Just hope he doesn't turn to another Arthur Brown.

They probably drafted him cuz they thought he'd be a bust.............smh. Looks like a bad pick right now. But I'm sure they drafted him because they thought he'd be really good. Edge rusher and swiss army knife type. He's obviously been a complete dud so far but give him another year at least. Believe me, i was hoping for Spence or Sterling

Yeah me too. I'll give Correa a chance to prove himself but man Noah Spence has like 5 and half sacks this year with the Bucs so far. We could've used that. Noah Spence and Judon together would've been huge young studs.

Hey Wright, everyone will be looking at you this game. Can you step into your Bro's shoes and have his back or will you be playing somewhere else next year?

I think even the football Gods will be shock if Ravens win this one. Whats crazy is Ravens are still hanging in there even with years of top three draft picks not getting on the field.

It's been reported that the Bengals plan to hold Green out of the final two games. If true, it would improve our chances of winning Week#17. Luckily, it seems that missing the playoffs the Bengals are apparently tanking for a better draft position.

Whoever reported that I find it hard to believe considering he practiced all week and has stated that he wants to play. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
