So just like that the playoff picture comes even more complicated. Even if the Bengals beat the Texans and the Titans have a chance to win the division next week, Mariota suffered a fractured fibula putting him out for the rest of the season. Titans can't beat Houston without Mariota, and now the Raiders playoff hopes just went down the drain if Carr ends up missing next week and the first playoff game.

The Saints beat the Bucs clinching the NFC South for the Falcons, and now the Falcons are hoping Arizona holds on as a Seahawks loss will move the Falcons to the 2 seed in the NFC. 

Edit: With the Bucs loss, the Giants who lost to the Eagles clinched a playoff spot.

49ers score a TD, then convert the 2PT conversion to win the game barring the Rams doing anything to get in FG range in the final 31 seconds.

If ever there was a year to make the playoffs in the AFC...if we win out we'd likely face the Dolphins, then probably the Carr-less Raiders before an AFC title tilt with the Pats. Ugh. Missed opportunity.

Truth be told, it's much more believable than it used to be. Apart from 2-3 guys, you can't rely on other kickers in this league. They suck big time.

The Cardinals win, and now the Falcons move into the number two seed in the NFC. If the Lions win, the Lions take the three seed while the Seahawks drop to the fourth seed.

True, this new XP rule will most certainly weed out the bad kickers sooner than it used to.

The Falcons are definitely a dark horse, I didn't even realize their record was good enough to be a #2 seed.
