The Ravens offensive coordinator said his unit needs to stay aggressive, but there were many other plays he could have called to still accomplish that while minimizing the risk late in the game versus Philadelphia. Mornhinweg said he was trying to land a knockout blow.

Tired of all the lame excuses. Three people had the chance to get it right, Mornhinweg, Harbaugh, and Flacco. None of them had the brains of a goat on this play. How can anyone call a pass when you are on the 11 yard line of an opponent, and all you need is to run the clock and kick a field goal to cement the win? One of the stupidest calls I have ever seen and none of the three stooges gave it any thought. Just amazing.

Absolutely correct. Sometimes I wonder if they're in "Madden Mode", forgetting that there are real consequences to the decisions that are made. Flacco said something along the lines of: 'I get to throw a 3rd TD.' That's a bit of insight into the minds of these dopes.

That wasn't the worst call Ive seen. A lot had to go wrong to make it the worst call. If Flacco hadn't thrown a bone head interception it wouldn't have been such a bad call. If the Defense had stopped the Eagles just ONCE after that it wouldn't have been such a bad call. ( Im not saying it wasn't a bad call..it was. But it wasn't the WORST call of all time like people are saying.) So a lot had to go into it and a lot of people had to fail to make it the worst call of all time.

Marty is not helping his case at all. The was is bad because no one trust the $120 QB, to protect the football. If it's was incomplete, it would have been a non issue. Joe must protect the ball no matter the call. He's turning into an OC killer.

There he is! Captain of the Flacco Defender Squad. This team, the coaches and the QB have made a lot of ridiculously dumb decisions all year. We're fans. We can complain all we want. We invest time and money into our sports teams, so if Flacco is sucking, I'm going to say how bad he is sucking. If he's doing awesome, I'll praise him for doing awesome. That's what a message board is for, to express one's elation or frustration. If you want to be the ra ra cheerleader 24-7, fine; but get off of your hall monitor high horse, dude.

its probably only the worst call for Marty if they lose the game. Whats kind of unusual is that earlier in the game Orr picks off Wentz in very similar fashion going the other way. It wasn't on the goal line but it was just as bad of a pass. Of course you dont hear the same "nail him to the cross" rhetoric from the peanut gallery about that. The aggressive call, is not really that aggressive. Many would consider that a high percentage pass, inside of 10 yards, middle of the field, single LB coverage on a TE, Crossing pattern, with 6 minutes still left in the Game and only up 10 points. Moderate risk, but certainly more risk than a run play for those who would prefer to stay with the obvious. It worked out Ravens win, Flacco will get his 4000 yds this season, his INT's will be on avg., he will break his completions stat record and If he can help his team to the playoffs , you just don't know, That is when he gets that little bit of extra help from his team mates who step up and become play makers!

Martys plays might be OK but his playcalling is complete garbage. We could use randome play generator and would get better results. At least would run the ball more.

hahaha! Interesting you say that. If I consistently made decisions that adversely affected my company; guess what? I get fired. And I don't quite yet make $80k a year!! In the real world, we get called out for doing stupid things. But apparently these purple glasses wearing dorks don't understand that concept when it comes to Flacco and the Ravens. Fans, although irrational at times, can be the voices that say what needs to be said when nobody else will.
