In an incredibly rare occurrence, the Redskins made an announcement to clear the field due to a nasty storm that is looming on the horizon. Light rain is currently falling, but the real threat is the lightning that is striking near the stadium.

I say call it off. It's not worth the risk of anyone slipping or a cleat getting caught in the muddy turf and sustaining an injury. However, I'm sitting on my couch right now. I didn't shell out money for game tickets and $30 for parking. Plus, according to a Mike Duffy post on the Big Board blog, the field conditions are not as bad as everyone initially thought and the players feel like it is good to go.

I guess you can't cancel a rivalry game either...even if it is pre-season. Gonna be a late night though. Hopefully we get a good game out of this.

First of all if they call the game the 3rd quarter just started not to long ago no one wins out of this right? that would be very unfair if they gave the Redskins the pre season win if they called it because of the weather. Then in standings not that it matters everyone will have a game up on us which kind of blows because you have those fans who take pre-season like its regular season.

Game called due to weather :(

Well due to the redskins their website claims they won the game how is that physically possible when 4 quarters of football were not played?. And NFL.COM is saying the final score 13-7 BTW typical Boller hope he is gone next YEAR . If that counts as a loss consider the NFL hated that would be the stupidiest thing to say if anything no one gets a win or loss.. Let alone I hate the redskins even more now that they are confirming they won the GAME on their website!

that sack was in noway Boller's fault. 5 Defenders in the backfield right at the snap is the OL's fault.

agreed. getting blindsided is probably the #1 reason any QB will fumble. As for Reed, I'm not sure really, I think if it was anything too serious they'd let us know about it because hes our top guy. He was probably coming out for the 2nd team to step in.

I consider this game a draw, there's no way to say who won because the skin's only td was off of that lucky break. there was still over a quarter of play remaining in the game so to say one team won over the other is just ludicrous.
