[News] Late For Work 12/22: Pittsburgh Wants To Ditch Conservative Game Plan And Take It To Ravens

the key to winning will be LESS Flacco, run the damn ball!

I won't say less Flacco but we need to run the ball, score points and keep Ben and their offense off the field. I really don't have any trust on our defense especially the secondary to contain their offense. The only way we are going to win this Sunday is our offense. If our offense does not step up, game over for us and we will focus on the offseason and our draft position.

We Do Not Need Blitzburgh's comments in our article. Once some idiot calls us [a derogatory name], my pulse is up and my fight is on.

Squeelers got lucky and got points in the last meeting! When all the snow clears Lol Joe Flacco and the Ravens will be standing there victorious! 1st play from scrimmage pass all three downs and huddle up every time the squeelers will not know what hit them! Triple " S ", Wallace, Aiken, Moore, Pitta, Boyle, Waller, Gilmore when healthy Juice out the backfield and West and KD ready and waiting to bust one = Mo points Mo points Mo points Mo points! THEY DONT WANT US TO WIN!

Steelers and the arrogance of even their beat writers make me sick. Instead of giving the Ravens respect for winning 4 times in a row, they say Steelers were conservative.

Keys
Defense must stop run with front 7 and provide pressure with 4 or disguise blitzing. Last time Ravens plays Steelers the way Pats played us. Drop guys into coverage. The problem is Ben is smart enough to run against a 3 man front. limit them to FGs. Play great defense from 30 yards in.

Offense: It's on Joe to win this game. Steelers are decent against the run especially if you are predictable. Offense must have protect football and move the chains. They need to prevent Harrison from finding the fountain of youth and give Joe time. Joe can't dink and dunk on this team. That what they want you to do . Hit middle, slants , and deep. Their safeties are terrible.

Potential X-factors
Campanero - return game/slot/end arounds
Aiken/Perriman - 3rd receiver spot
Dixon - catching out of backfield
Waller - red zone
Young - playing slot
Orr - contain Bell
Webb - deep zone

Young and Orr are playing well on defense. Webb has been solid. He was placed at safety to prevent big plays over the top. They need his A game with Smith out. Steelers will test them deep.

Smith Sr and Wallace will draw coverage. Aiken or Perriman could be huge. Steelers safeties aren't good at all.

I love when the Ravens play the Steelers because it brings out the best in both teams. Guys flying around all over the field pads popping and trash talking. The squads don't like each other very much but respect each other. I do know whatever team does not bring their best will most likely lose the game. The Ravens better bring it. Big Ben can keep plays alive so the defense needs to get to him often and fast. Flacco needs to be AWARE of his surroundings PERIOD!!! I am a Flacco fan but at times his internal clock just seems either real slow or broken and I really dont want to see any strip sack fumbles or int's. GO RAVENS !!! I want this win for Christmas.

This game is going to be a blood bath from beginning to end and when have the Steelers been conservative at anything! I'll set the over/under at 5 scuffles in this game.

bring home another AFC North Division title and put his team in position to make a run for the Super Bowl.

Oh Brother! You are forgetting Steeler fans. Their is that team in Foxboro that makes you pee in your pants everytime you play them standing in your way. So no!

Either way this game goes, this game will help ready the victor for the road ahead in the post season. Call it a playoff dress rehearsal.

Need to come out strong and take the crowd out of the game. Joe, keep your foot on the gas. Gang tackle and swarm to the ball.

I know we all have varying opinions on what the Ravens' problems are and what it would take to fix them. Some think things are improving, others not so much. Some blame Harbaugh, some Flacco, some Mornhinweg, some Ozzie.

But the one thing we can all agree on is that we want the Ravens to beat Pittsburgh and Cincinnati and make a playoff run.

So, how about everyone post a big "Go Ravens! in solidarity, and then we can resume arguing after the game. Deal?

GO RAVENS!!!!

Go Ravens!
