I don't think the defense had a tackle for no gain or a pass defensed. Pittsburgh just had their way with them on that entire drive.

 

Of course Dennis Pitta should have caught that ball, but the 31 points in unacceptable.

Called it as soon as the Steelers got the ball. To stop an offense, your defense needs to be on the field, kind of hard when they're already on the plane.

Yes, that is bad. The Offense had this game won if Pitta or Waller make those catches. However, the offense did get the lead in the fourth quarter with a long drive to let the defense rest. What happened? Suddenly they couldn't stop anything. And it's not like that's something new.

It just seems like the defense is always blameless, even when the offense gives them a lead in the 4th quarter.

The offense did their job and scored with those picks. The D went into the 4th with a 2 score lead which they squandered. The offense then gave them the lead yet again. And they couldn't even hold them to a FG. This is squarely on the defense.

NFL gets the AFC Title Game they desire. Since Manning retired, guess they will do whatever to make sure it's Brady vs Ben and a team like us would spoil their party. Brown's momentum was stopped and the reach shouldn't have counted. If that's the case, then I guess when your tackled and down you can reach for another a yard or two and it will be legal.

Joe was average at best.  He has been thee reason that it came down to this in the first place.  HE SUCKS!!!!!  Get him and Harbs off this team and you can take weddle also.

Both are at fault. Offense for failing to convert FG's into TD's and the defense for giving up a 2 score lead and then for allowing the Steelers to get out of bounds whenever they wanted at the end.

We wouldn't even be in this position without the two of them.  Yes they suck!  They never play to win the game they play not to lose.

We need talent. No point in winning. We need high draft pick talent. Not the late 20s talent. No young difference makers. Unbelievable loss but I know no one here is surprised. We were pretenders all along and deep down we all knew it
