For the love of God....throwing well short of the sticks on 3rd down AGAIN. Same problems are already rearing their ugly head...

Pretty sure if someone was open further than the marker Joe would have thrown it, just had nobody open, might has well hope for the YAC.

seriously why even throw the ball knowing fully well it would not be first down. SMH at decision making and play calling.

No one open.

Was clearly no one even close to being open

Just tired throwing it short of the first. We know Perriman has speed, use it. Let him go out on a slant for the first, get Pitta in the middle of the field, something.

I hate those 3rd down throws inside the sticks. I really do.

didn't get a great look at the play, but SSS has to win vs a LB. I can't fault the play call much with SSS matched up on a LB

Third down, so let's run a route that is two yards short of the marker.

that's fine as a route as long as you dont throw it to him - he's drawing a defender in either man or zone which should leave space elsewhere - but flacco throws to smitty anyway

The Ravens need to do better create routes. It almost the same routes they use against New England and nobody was open. WRs need separation.

I mean the routes were stupid. Pitta went straight into the lb. no route actually ran.  Waller a quick curl and stand still.  juice should I have ran a slant or dig on the outside to comeback to his QB since he was given space.
