It seems like people want it both ways. They demand Flacco holds onto the ball a bit longer to let plays develop, and then complain when he doesn't throw it away after one second.

Can this guy actually keep a play alive??

i can't stand Big Ben but the guy has a presence in the pocket to keep plays alive.

Joe has that deer in the headlights look again.

this game is done lmao. The play calling is terrible. A check down with 20+ yards to go?

Dude your not getting 20 yards on 3rd down

We really don't want to win. So discouraging

Seriously. Why don't these guys look like they are on point? SO frustrating to watch.

3rd & 23, and Flacco throws like 3 yards trying for Kyle. Marty your not creative, the NFL has passed you by. Hope the Chargers let Mike McCoy go.

he could have taken the sack with that Steeler running free at him. Your choice.

Most of our WR's have never done that and that needs to change.

That's on the WR coach, so we need a new WR coach.

Anyone pressing the panic button yet??

Oh yeah. I hit it when they lost to the Jets and then again when they gave up 128 to Ryan Matthews.

We just spent a first round pick on a receiver, we just suck at developing pass catchers

To be fair Flacco isn't the type of QB to really help a receiver shine.

Is there gonna be a Mike Wallace sighting in this game? This is his former team. Find a way to get the ball in his hands. Sweep, screen, etc

Partly agreed. He had a million years to throw the ball away on 2nd down. But he made the right decision on 3rd down.

If Orr intercepted the pass that hit him in the hands, that's at least three. If we could have capitalized on the opening drive near midfield, that's another 3. If we didn't muff a snap on the 2nd FG attempt that's another 3. So because we're making mistakes instead of making good plays, we're down by 4 instead of up 12-7.
