it seems specifically that ronnie stanley is good when he gets downfield blocking but isnt great at the LoS

At least he's admitting the ONE flaw with the helmet to helmet rule. If a player lowers his head, there's nothing the defender can do. If they know it gives you a free first down and 15 yards, why not lower your head and force a penalty? I just don't think there is anyway for the NFL to close that loop hole where it wouldn't be helmet to helmet if the receiver lowers his head to force it.

Now this is a game where a pass-heavy offense would make sense. The running game is obviously not working.

Yes he was injured, but he was brought in to be the stretch receiver as Torrey had not yet developed.
