Regardless what happens I hope everyone has a great Christmas, it should be fun tomorrow unless we get blown out! ;(

Merry Christmas to you as well as your family. 😊 🎄 If we lose it's not the end of the world we just come back strong next year but Ravens fans gonna argue if we lose by one point. If this is our year it is...if it's not it's not; simple.

I gotcha Hen.  I was just commenting that the situation the Ravens find themselves in is solely on them and not another team that is trying to handle their own business as well.

LOL 😅

Denver and Houston dont matter at this point, we can't win a wildcard spot no matter what.

You're correct. The only way to the playoffs for us is to win the division by winning the next two on the road.

So for the heck of it, say we win out and go 10-6. It's almost guarenteed that we'd play the Dolphins in the Wild-Card round, then either the Chiefs or Raiders.

I really think the easiest and most preferred route would be to play the Dolphins and then Raiders. Both would have backup QBs in, and both would be teams that our offense did good against earlier this season. I think our D could feast against these teams too, especially if Jimmy is back by then. I think it's the easiest route to the AFC Championship, most likely in New England.

I think the most realistic route would be the Dolphins in the WC round, then the Chiefs in the Divisional round, and then the Pats in Foxborough for the AFC Championship. I think the Chiefs game would be low scoring, with 2 good D's fighting it out.

But what do you all think is our easiest/most realistic/preferred path to Foxborough and/or SB 51?

well, there is some merit to that thought process. we play pitt way better than we play cincy, the past couple years anyway.

Cincinnati was better during those years. This year they're awful. Meanwhile Pitt is a good team who I'll have to admit are SB contenders if they make it. Not to mention the fact that we probably won't see AJ Green while Pitt, a place that is hard to play at is going to have a full powered offense playing for a playoff spot.

Offense breaks out...

EXACTLY.  The team shouldn't be begging for help and the truth is, we basically needed to win out before this.  Now we'll see what this team is made of... problem is, i think were going to be left disappointed.

Ya'll killin' me with this "breakout" stuff Rum.  :34853_brickwall:

Buffalo screwed us over. Jacksonville beat Tennessee but Buffalo beating Miami was big for us. Now we control our own destiny period. Hopefully both Denver and Houston lose as do the Colts. But dang Buffalo and Rex Ryan screwed Baltimore over big time.

Now our playoff hopes really rest with the Ravens and their ability to win 2 road games against division opponents. Not impossible, but surely improbable.

Naw!  The Ravens piss poor offensive gameplay the majority of the season and a few of the defense's and ST's hiccups along the way didn't help either.  The Bills and Dolphins were both trying to handle their own business.  The Ravens have no one else to blame but themselves and the coaching staff.

Man "Mili" that sure seems to be the truth I hope they can prove both of us wrong the next few weeks. We will soon see.

I do to Alskan.  I do to!

Oh yea and that's exactly why if they don't make it they don't deserve to. Cause even if they make it the margin for error will be slim in every game. Even with without Derrek Carr the margin for error would be slim going against that Raiders team if the Ravens were to make it and win a Divisional game at home. So they better come to play tomorrow night and very game after.

That's how I feel!  They have to go out there today and play as though there is no tomorrow.  Because for them....if they lose....there won't be!

I really hate Buffalo. Rex is probably dun-dotta w / the bills.

You get two chances to seal the game and you can't do it. smh

I'm just at a loss for words.

Them AND the Jets are now on my "hated list" along with the usual suspects. Such pathetic franchises with loser mentalities. I'm so sick of rooting for teams to help us out, but at the same time, I'm disgusted with losing 4 straight in October (ALL OF WHICH WERE WINNABLE).

There you go Dom.  Channel that "hate" in the right direction....towards the Ravens piss poor offensive productivity most of the season.  And towards a few defensive and special teams hiccups along the way.  The Ravens have no one to blame but themselves.

So, since their "destiny is in their own hands" let's see how they "handle" it today.  Now is their chance to prove to themselves, we fans and the rest of the NFL world that they are actually better than what their road and overall record says they are.

GO RAVENS!

Mili, don't get me started on how much this offense had me pulling my hair out (figuratively). I'll say this much, as frustrating as this season may end up, I feel that we're not too far away from a 10-win season.

Speaking of 10-win seasons, I DO NOT CARE how we win these last two games, just win by any means necessary (word to the Nation of Domination)!
