This game is HUGE with Derek Carrs injury. You're the 3rd seed with the opportunity to play the Dolphins who are short of a QB and Oakland who just lost their QB. Would be a great opportunity to head to the AFC title game.

Unfortunately, Pittsburgh is thinking the exact same thing.

Yeah, that's what worries me. Nightmare scenario for both of us is Pitt-NE in the AFC title game because there's a good chance either one of them will win it. Don't think Pitt is going to lose against Atlanta or Detroit and I really think against Dallas they'll win.

Folks keep mentioning Bell. He never worried or impressed me at all. He is slow and has such a huge delay before he decides where he wants to go. Our defense is so fast towards the ball that he becomes a non issue as always against us. I wish folks, even our own Baltimore fans would give the team some credit. We do a lot of things so well but the few things we do wrong are always the talk and it gets old.

Bell had a single game with over 100 yards against us, yeah he always hurts us. Here are the stats i am going by.

Bell's stats

I know us as fans hate the steelers but bell is a stud. I do agree that our game plan against him helps us contain him but I'm for sure worried about him every time we play him.

I agree. I especialy think that's true today because it is going to take every defensive scheme possible to shut down Brown---so got to be super careful not to forget about Bell. You know Bell and Brown are going to want redemption after that first game vs us this year.

It disgusts me how easily NE should get to the Superbowl. Pittsburgh always rolls over for them so the only obstacle would probably be KC.

Unless of course the Ravens surprise me and manage to win two road games to finish out the season. They aren't afraid to tangle with the Patriots in the playoffs.

But first things first... put some coal in the Steelers stockings, Ravens.

One game at a time. Let's take care of Pittsburgh and leave coal in their stocking by the end of this game first. With AJ Green shut down for the final two games, the Bengals are playing for a higher draft pick so we should be able to complete the sweep of the Bengals. Just I don't want to sweep the Bengals if in the end it means nothing if we lose today.

Anyone know if the Chargers can send Mike McCoy to Pittsburgh to help us score a bunch?

Here's the most unlikely run at the SB in history. The Ravens beat the Steelers, Bengals, Miami at home, Oakland away and then Patriots in Gillette to head to the SB. There they beat the Packers to win the SB with their indomitable defense and just adequate support from the offense. Just like 2000!!!

This is my personal fantasy so don't spoil it with contrarian comments please especially not today!!!!!

Im not too optimistic, without Jimmy and Lewis playing, doesnt give me much confidence.  The offense is really going to have to show up and we've seen that a whole 1 time this year against Miami.  Everyone is watching, last time we failed big time against the Pats in primetime, hopefully Joe can redeem himself.

To hell with it. We have 4 more hours of hope and then may be a week more till we play the Bengals. Let's be hopeful till then at least. Be optimistic, stranger things have happened than the Ravens beating the Steelers in Heinz Field.

We did in 2012/13 and added the most promising young QB to the list. Did you say no way back then as well?

Made it to Massachusetts in about 6.5 hours.  Big family gathering.  Turns out my brother in law does have NFL Network so I am all set.

We are DVRing it incase festivites run past the 4:30 mark.

In that case I will be avoiding the boards until I am up to speed.

its kind of obvious... With jimmy smith not playing amongst some other pieces too, this game will come down to mostly coaching for us. Actually on both sides of the game. Ben will test both CB's hard. Maybe our run game will show up big today due to the multiple injuries on the squeelers D line. We'll see, Let's go RAVENS NATION!!
