They almost lost today. Theres no reason why Flacco should thrown that pass in the 4th quarter when you have the lead. You run the ball let the clock run and kick the field goal. Any Incompetent coach would call that play.

I agree . No why an inside slant at the 10-15 yard line ? Dumbest play call ever

I haven't listened to the Harbaugh presser, but I bet he says we just got to play better, etc etc etc.  Nothing ever changes.  Ironically, we got outplayed and still won this one.  Luck of the Irish, I guess.   Penalties, game management errors, terrible play calling, execution issues R US.

I question the management, play calling, and overall feel for the game decisions.

This is every week we go through these head scratching decisions, where is the accountability?

Its like every body just does what the heck they want to, and hopes for the best. Disorganized kaos.

At some point, somebody that actually knows what they are doing, needs to have a come to Jesus meeting with Flacco, and then with Harbaugh the bystander, for these awful brain fart decisions that occur on a regular basis. Get your heads out of your butts!

I certainly could not disagree with your thoughts. I wonder what Steve Bisciotti thinks about the matter.

I agree with you to an extent, but its not the coaches who make bad plays.

Harbaugh knows how to inspire the players, he knows how to develop talent, but his game management...he'd make a great special teams coordinator.

Coaching decisions will always be the blame, but the players have to make plays.  The coaches weren't the ones in the front 7 getting manhandled by the Eagles' OL.  The coach wasn't the one that threw the pick.  No matter how bad the play call might have been, Flacco was the one that made the mistake.

I'll never understand why so much gets pinned on coaches.  Sometimes, it absolutely is the case, but the players still have to execute.  Today, for the most part, they didn't, but we lucked out and got the W anyways.

Good: The Ravens remain undefeated in every game I attend. The Ravens won for my birthday, but hopefully they give me a Christmas present in a win next Sunday. Dixon and West looked good and I like Tavon Young a lot but it seems the refs like calling DPI on him even when he's not guilty of it.

Bad: We nearly lost this game, an obnoxious lady behind me screaming "Focus, Focus, Focus" repeatedly and "Lock and Load" and I have no idea what she meant but man she made no sense and was annoying with a screechy voice!

Ugly: this little Eagles fan who was probably 10 with a foul mouth dropping f-bombs, gd, and other extremely foul language for his age smh

I forget which one of the billion run plays it was, but did anyone see Michael Pierce just push his offensive line like a shopping cart? That is one beast of a man.

First eagles TD play i believe but he didn't have awareness. He kept pushing the guy but didn't turn around to look where the runner/ball was.

who knew we couldn't defend the zone stretch play.............

Even with 2 turnovers our offense managed 27 points which is good but those turnovers nearly cost us

Not that unhappy with the defense overall. They were put in some bad situations by the offense but the run defense needs to show up against PIT

@BmoreBird22 man did you see the way the Eagles almost took control of the game with that running game today? Really shows why it's important to run the ball and be good at running the ball. That's what you were saying all week.

And I'll tell ya this, if I'm the Eagles, and I'm going for two, I'm running the ball. Why they passed is beyond me,

I'm starting to think Joe has hit his peak and that it doesn't get better from here, maybe it's the knee. He's proved that we can't win with him having Drew Brees passing attempts. Along with a solid run defense, which is the norm, we need to focus strongly on the run game if we plan on winning in the future with Joe.

Yeah, we are. Our offense is plain bad. We managed a whopping 11 yards rushing and 0 offensive TDs against the New York Jets. And that was just 2 weeks after we scored only 10 points against Washington. If our offense could have just taken care of business those games then we wouldn't be in the desperate must-win situation we are now.

I'm really hoping he doesn't end up like Matt Schaub. I remember in 2013 Schaub was coming off his 2ND Pro Bowl season, then he just completely imploded that year and was never the same. That happened when he was 32- just a year older than Joe is.

Ryan Matthews was great today in large part because eagles oline got push and really owned our dline. Just absolutely owned us.

Joe continues to feel phantom pressure and seems overly concerned with the mere suggestion of what might be coming.

The play calling doesn't do him any favors. The ill advised and poorly timed screens, ( 2nd and 2 to juice..3rd and 12..flacco threw into ground ..).

The pick was clearly a case of Joe pre detirmining a throw. No idea whatsoever as to where the linebacker was or if the throw was open. Just a bad bad throw at a very inopportune time. Not sure what he could have seen.

It's clear that Wentz has a better idea how to run a 2 minute offense than a 9 year veteran. Wentz was also on the road and managed the clock and moved the ball.

West played well. DIxon looked good. Terrance West led the team in targets. Juice was 2nd.

Denver has the better quarterback right now, but outside of him we have a better offense. We have better running backs and tight ends, while their only advantage is better receivers.

Stanley received the highest grade of the day.. makes me wonder if it has to do with yanda being right next to him. Wouldn't mind keeping him at left guard just to help him develop more

I think Yanda definitely helps, but so does his health.  Stanley was solid for us before his injury.  His real big struggles came in his first couple of games back after the injury.  I recall Harbaugh saying the reason for those struggles was him overcompensating since he still wasn't fully healthy, and thus, his mechanics and footwork weren't 100% there.  He performance steadily increased as he got healthier.

And I'll tell ya this, if I'm the Eagles, and I'm going for two, I'm running the ball. Why they passed is beyond me,

Their offensive line, RT not included, were just manhandling it up front. And I am completely impressed with their dedication to their offensive line. They already had big contracts with Lane Johnson, Jason Peters, and Jason Kelce, but you go out and sign Brandon Brooks for massive money and get some depth up their with Stefan Wesniewski (sp?).

And what's even worse is that this is one of three games this season where the Eagles averaged over 3.0 yards after contact. Ryan Matthews was absolutely punishing defenders every time they tried to touch him. That's definitely how you have a TOP differential of like 13 minutes.

Honestly, I'm not sure why the Ravens haven't been running off the left side of the line more. Ever since Yanda went over to LG, Stanley has just been head and shoulders above his play from earlier this season and even Zuttah, to me, has played better in recent weeks. Ducasse is clearly a weak link, so I wouldn't even bother running it up the right A or B gap. I mean, shoot, on that Dixon touchdown run, I don't even think he was touched until he was a yard or two out from being in.

As for that play call, I went to the bathroom because I just assumed OT and I come back an my girlfriend is all stoked because they passed the ball and failed. No idea why you wouldn't take Matthews right there behind Peters, Kelce, and Brooks. He was having a killer day behind them.

I'm actually really curious to hear your take on the run blocking, recently, of Zuttah and Stanley.

That's a great perspective if you like being average or mediocre. I don't. Isn't the average American about thirty pounds overweight?

Better but not great.  Lately, I've been a little buzzed during games so I'm not that attentive, but the primary issue seems to me like Stanley, Ducasse, and Zuttah are doing better at making their blocks but not staying on their blocks. We're consistently getting 2-3 yard gains. That means we're hitting blocks and not missing our assignments. But, we're not staying on them and finishing them. That's how you get those 4-8 yard gains.

How do you stay on your block? Good hips, good pad level, good feet, good balance.

Also: on defense, nobody commanded double teams. I know everybody has a lovefest for Brandon Williams and Michael Pierce but they both had crap games. They got killed all game by one on one blocks. (And by the way, NTs who don't demand double teams don't get paid...) Which brings me to my next point.

A cursory, passing look at our run game shows a reliance on double teams on inside zones. We're not getting off our doubles fast enough, which means we're not getting to the second level, which means we're getting tackled in the backfield or for no gain.

The Eagles sustained one on one blocks with quick-hit double teams. We couldn't sustain blocks at all.

Stanley has done better than others at sustaining blocks but he doesn't get a lot of push. And that was kind of my one gripe with him out of college. He's a dominant pass protector but when it comes to run blocking, he's just gonna be the kinda guy that walls off defenders and gets in the way.

The good: I didn't get to watch this game and avoid a heart attack because of family commitments.

The Bad: The family commitments turned out to be a disaster.

The Ugly: Holy crap this fanbase is filled with crybabies. IDC if it was ugly. WE WON. GET OVER IT. I know half of you want Harbaugh gone, but he's not going anywhere because the worst case scenario is 8-8. Which isn't enough to constitute firing him this season. Especially since two seasons ago we were in the playoffs. I think Marty needs to go, and if Bradley somehow wants to come here, I'd take him over Pees(though he's been fine. Defense straight up didn't execute today), and ozzie needs to invest heavily in the oline, but Harbaugh is not the issue. Half of you act like we should win every game because the teams on the other side are scrubs. They're not. Carson Wentz is an incredibly promising rookie with a good set of weapons around him and an up and coming defense. They're a very young team who is going to be very dangerous in 2-3 years, especially since they have another first round pick in this draft thanks to the(genius) Sam Bradford trade they pulled off. Sure, we got lucky, but it's better to be lucky thank good. And to those of you saying that "we are worse than last year"/"CJ Mosely is a scrub".... What the hell are you talking about? Seriously? To those of you criticizing Harbaugh, he's forgotten more about football than you'll ever know. Here's the things. We're not too far away from being a contending team again. We're an interior oline, and another pass rusher and secondary member away from being a super bowl contender again. We've been through so much worse than this season, and improved SIGNIFICANTLY from the last one. Quit complaining about absolutely everything, because it's honestly pathetic. /end rant
