#1. Im looking for Judon to have a great game if he gets in enough. #2 If we don't start out running, we wont run at all. That's just the way we are. #3 if we are gonna pass we need to send some guys deep so the middle is open. This having everybody run their routes to the same yard line is nuts.

We should have run the ball more against NE and that was obvious to me early in the 2nd Qtr even my wife who is more into the individual players than the X's and O's was complaining about that however, we should start out as balanced as we can against the Eagles, sort of like you do when you go fishing. You're not sure what the fish will bite each day until you throw a Spinner bait, top water Popper or bottom fish with a worm. Our issue isn't solely on how much we run or pass, it's not making the adjustments according to what our opponent is giving us. If Philly is in a weak zone all game long like Miami was, throw the heck out of it until they show they can stop it. IF they decide to try what NE did and only rush 3 or 4 and go into strong coverage, we should run it more. The great thing about our team is we have the tools to do either. We just need to pay attention during the game more. I'm just an armchair coach but sure feels like our coaches could do better if they just went fishing a few times! :-)

Early in the 2nd Quarter, we were down 16 points and Brady's offense looked unstoppable. You don't run the ball when you're down 3 scores.

The five things we should watch...lemme see.
1. Watch the corners
2. Watch the corners
3. Flacco's control of offense
4. Running the ball
5. And watch the corners some more

I don't care about who's throwing their helmet at practice, I don't care about who isn't playin, I just want a win tomorrow. At the end of the day that's all that matters if this team wants to keep its playoff hopes alive. Smash the Eggles!!

Rename this five things captain obvious could point out to you against the Eagles. Seriously?

Hmm...the Eagles rely on the running game. You think? They got a rookie QB.
Hey, Zach Ertz is a good player, guess we should watch out for him huh?
Hey, the Ravens ran the ball a whopping 5 times in a half, will they do that again?
Wentz throws interceptions. The Ravens sometimes get them. Will they this game?
Hey, I just read an injury report saying that some OL's for the Eagles that start are banged up or ruled out for the game.

How about some of this:

Will the Ravens offense be handicapped by inane play calling again?
Will the Ravens offense be befuddled by drop zone coverage again?
Will the secondary completely collapse and make Wentz look like a budding super star thanks to the absence of Jimmy Smith and any time Matt Elam plays a down?
Will the Ravens take timeouts at ridiculous times because for some reason they seem to forget about that whole play clock thing?
Will Campanaro make a difference in the return game, or at least not shoot the Ravens in the foot with his decisions?

I like it; or lets go with a positive spin since we are the Ravens press:

1.Ravens game plan will adjust better using counter attack to the defense. Run the 3 backs, use Slants and TE options
2.Ravens need to Speed up pass plays to the down marker, and route adjustments to counter drop zone coverage.
3. Ravens will use safety and LB help to support the CB play due to J Smith abscence. However must find ways the keep pressure on Wentz. Do not play soft!
4. Ravens must minimize the mistakes and the forced time outs, or call stupid time outs, use good clock management. Cmon Coach!
5. Camp needs to show he is a "new" man. He has been given a second chance in the NFL, many , many players never get. He can make a difference. Believe, Trust and Carry out.
thanks mythicalone

Go Ravens!

With Sproles out the Ravens get a gift. He would spell trouble for our coverage, and he is a very talented flex RB/REC with excellent. Watch out for the Eagles to still use plays with substitutions for his position.

That's not necessarily true.  First, you said it yourself, it was in the 2nd quarter.  Still too early to give up on the running game.   Second, running the ball, as long as you are moving the chains, will limit the amount of times NE would get onto the field.  We don't know if it would have worked, because we didn't try to run it.

1. Will any of our WRs get open or will Flacco have to throw checkdowns again?
2. Can we get any pressure on the QB?
3. Are Camp's injuries and fumble issues behind him?
4. Can Zuttah/Vlad/Yanda handle Fletcher Cox?
5. Can our secondary handle a weak WR corps?

1. Will the Ravens commit to running the football? Since the Pats defense dominated the Ravens by playing zone, Ravens will need to prove they will run the ball.

2. Can Ravens slow down Philly offense? Without Smith, I think any QB can give that secondary a hard time.

3. What will Campanero provide?

4. Which Flacco shows up this week?

5. Will the Ravens play smart? Dumb penalties, missed opportunities, and poor decision cost the Ravens at least 2 games this season. Fake FGs, accepting untimely penalties, blown coverages, are things Ravens did to beat themselves.

Didn't you say this in week 4? I know history repeats itself but this soon?

Campanaro is gonna be huge for this team, I don't care what the nay sayers say. Even if it is only for 1 or 2 games which I don't think it will be. He can make those few plays that are the x factor that we need. Esp with our offense and return the game way it is. He's had an A+ TD run IN Pittsburgh before. He's a gamer. He's going to help us go where we want to go this year. Certain users like Crusader might mock this post. Go Ahead. I'm confident in the Men to take care of business the next 3 weeks. Then beyond. Starting with tomorrow

Food for thought: Jets are 1-6 at home. Guess who was that 1 W against? :(

That food tastes like ***. I'd rather eat a nice plate of take care of business the last 3 weeks and we are Division champs with a home playoff game

We don't have to look for five things. How about just one thing. Evidence that the players are as "cranky" as John EIsenberg says they are! We'll see today!!!

How long are they going to stick with Jimmy Smith? Players have learned by HS to get their legs out from under them on tackles. Smith's technique has to do with his history of injuries.

I knew someone would bring that up. So NE scored 16pts in one Qtr.  That's insurmountable with 3 Qtrs left to play? No one's unstoppable. No excuse. They hit the panic button way too early.
