[News] Eisenberg: Losing To New England Made Ravens Very Cranky

43 posts in this topic

More of the same old same old from Pees. Brady controlled every min of that game and destroyed our number "1" ranked D.

Only now are the players cranky... not after the loss to a 1-4 jets team? It's clear that we're not good enough to play and win against a top ranked team. This whole season has been a struggle even when it shouldn't have been vs some bottom end teams.
I don't see much improvement from last season. I think we will win Sunday and then get spanked by the Steelers as they are wanting revenge. If only this O line could show some consistency from week to week.

I agree brother! Come on Eisenberg........The team is now cranky after losing to the Patriots????? I was way more disgusted and ticked off losing to the stinking Jets. Seeing how horrible that team is and knowing now that we must win out on the road at Pittsburgh and Cincinnati because we lost to the stinking Jets. It still has me wanting to rip the face off of a bear. Seriously, we can beat the Eagles today and beat the Steelers on Christmas, but we will still have to lay everything on the line and risk injury at the Bengals (instead of resting players for the playoffs) because we lost to the STINKING JETS!!!!!!.......I am so relieved to hear (rolling eyes) that the team is finally cranky........SMH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am quite sure that many fans like me and my man Zeus here, have been quite cranky.......SINCE OCTOBER! Lose one of these last three games and let us not get into the playoffs because we lost to the STINKING JETS then interview me Mr. Eisenberg and see how cranky I am!!!!!! Lord have mercy!

Sorry, but a team we destroyed uses their backup quarterback and goes on the road in crappy weather and destroys the team we lost to, which left me VERY CRANKY since the month of October, and I have to read an article like this? I am so relieved (rolling eyes) this team is just now getting as cranky as I been for the last two months. SMH!!!!!!!!!!! Cry me a stinking river!

It sounds like after a 5-11 season and a tough NE loss, set up by stupid coaching decisions in several early games this year that cost games, and the pressure of having to win out is causing our coaches to be crazy.

Listening to Rosburg I thought it was really bizaare, strange, for what he said about Hester when no one caused Hester to refuse to field punts causing serious lost yards, no one forced his constant injuries this season, no one made him drop punts that hit his hands. It's just weird. Hester couldn't do it anymore, he didn't have what he once had. That happens, that's why people retire. But it wasn't his returns as he had some nice ones, it was the overly abundant ones he didn't return or muffed that cost him. Rosburgs response to releasing him was a little uncomfortable.

Marty in his presser didn't sound like he had one coherent thought through the whole thing. Rambling, talking both sides of one argument, twisting information and stories as to make it difficult to even garner any sense from it. Just his ramble about how good they have been for the most part in the 2 minute drill (uh-yeah) or when he rambled about why no runs, he didn't seem to know other than they were on his play sheet but somewhere between there, his mouth the microphone and Joes ear it just came out pass. We planned it I just don't know how I didn't call a run play IN COVER 2 all day. Opportunity didn't present itself?????? C'mon man. What's more frustrating, that he does it, or he thinks we are so stupid like there was something the Patriots did, that was so specific to stopping the run, he couldn't call a run play. Oh, except the safety he ran one, the one to the loaded side and not behind Yanda and Stanley, his best linemen.

Fusuymada my friend, your life will be much less stressful once you come to the realization that anything a coach or a player says to the media is a bunch of BS with tiny bits up truth sprinkled in between. And after you peal away the BS spewed by the source you have to navigate through the BS of the author. This is especially true when the author is employed by the entity that they are writing about (a Ravens reporter writing about the Ravens). Its all propoganda fusuymada and Eisenberg is the writer hired by the Ravens that is full of the most BS.

I'm right there with you brother. History has always shown the Ravens playing down to weaker competition. Heck, we were even down 20 to the Browns in the first game.

We didn't have the luxury of facing a 3rd string rook QB with 2 games experience when we faced the Jets and their vet QB's outplayed us. Miami should have won exactly the way they did.

You guys should have been cranky a LONG time ago! We were out coached badly last week. I mean man our offense couldn't complete a pass to a WR the entire first half, 2nd half comes around and it's more of the same. No adjustments, nothing new or different! This team needs an overhaul of some sort, there's no fire! Just plain and simple. Idk, it is very frustrating to watch us struggle to do anything remotely close to NFL caliber on offense, it seems like everything we run is a watered down, vanilla version of what is standard. There's nothing complex nor exciting about this offense. The negation of that is Justin Tucker doing all the work because our offense can't score TDs.

Couldn't have said it better. They said that the Patriots were rushing 3 and dropping 8 in coverage. How about then running the ball, which should be successful and force them to bring more of their players to line and which would open up the passing game.
It seems to me that when the same plan that worked agains Miami (throwing the ball down the middle to TEs) didn't work against the Patriots, they just simply threw up their hands and quit. They couldn't make the simplest of adjustments. What did the team do the entire week leading up to the patriots game?

Well said. I actually make a policy of not reading "Byrne Identity" for that reason. To expect an expose' of The Ravens organization from none other than "baltimoreravens.com" is naive. Secondly you cannot expect a coach to be open about what happens in the locker room or with the front office.
There's a lot if issues with this team especially on the offense. We will all find out if any changes occur in the offseason.

When Joe step up and command the offense we can be very dangerous!! Here's to the rest of the season.. #Raven4lyfe

How often does that happen? Joe stepping up? Not nearly enough for what we are paying him.

You're missing some very good insights into our team.  It's a shame all you want is negativity.  You're basically throwing out any reason to feel good about the team you claim to support.

There are always problems with the Offense and has since the beginning. We just can't seem to get it right? We have won 2 Super Bowls with mediocre Offense though. Not sure about Flacco's play any more?

The Ravens expected to upset the AFC's top-seeded team, but didn't measure up. However, a win against the Philadelphia Eagles will put them right back where they expected to be, and that would improve everyone's mood.

The phrase "measure up" is well stated.  The NE team Is better in situation football schemes than we are. Watching Hogan score without an escort really ticked me off.  I hope we can succeed and win  three in a row.
