I have always been excited to see what he can do.  But because of his past, any time he touches the ball or gets hit im going to be nervous and I just assume hes going to get hurt.  But maybe since theres only 3 games left, we might be able to have him the whole time

Pitta needs to give Camp some of his bionic powers.

We've seen bionic commando, now it's time for Bionic-Campanero

I just don't get how 14 touches can make a wr be considered a 'chain mover.'  I guess if we are being literal, then yes. At this point id rather see Juice just get more touches

Who would have thought that a former Special Teams guru would have so much trouble finding a return specialist after all these years. One of the best ones we had wasn't even one we drafted, it was Jacoby Jones.

Right.  I think people really underestimate how much a good return game can do, as we all seen.

You may not see it, Camp can play. I just wish he was actually healthy enough to actually matter. He can run routes and has good hands, even if it was a small sample size.

Agree totally.  The guy is a baller and play maker, no doubt about it.  He can make things happen.  Hopefully he can stay healthy.

I have no doubt the kid can play.  When we drafted him I was stoked, I even had a friend that went to school with him and his brother.  Its not like I don't want this guy to explode in this non-existent offense.  Health has always been the issue, obviously, and it just gets old getting hyped up just to get a notification that his back spasms are acting up or he has a stuffy nose.

Hope he proves me wrong.

camp can ball, but can't stay healthy, we saw his quickness and shiftiness vs pit that's why the knocked out of the game. if he can stay healthy, he will be our explosive play guy.

Camps got fresh legs. Maybe that helps him stay healthy not being worn down from a whole season. He is the type of guy who could bring a spark considering we need to move the chains more consistently and that's exactly what he brings to the table.

He needs to play on offense especially on third down. I mean we are ranked 30th just above the rams and giants.

I wish Sergio Kindle could have played too. But wishes don't make football players. Camp is soft. And a waste of a roster spot.

Definitely not Joe's fault. Just ask any of his fanboys.

Well, right now I would settle for adequate. Too many stupid mistakes in the return game. We don't need the second coming of Devin Hester (literally and figuratively), we just need some competence there. There is another name the Ravens recently got back on the PS and that is Stephen Houston. He's next man up if anything happens to Camp.

No HESTER was a waste of a roster spot. Camp atleast fills 2 positions.

If Camp can make a fair catch. I would be fine with that.

I'm rooting for Camp. Hoping he's past all his injury crap and can show his full potential what ever that may be. There are many different opinions on Camp but he's never been able to stay healthy enough to show people exactly who he is or isn't. Hopefully starting today we'll see why the Ravens were willing to wait on him to get healhty.

Sadly that's how poor the return game has been this season. I keep hearing people say the Ravens released the future HOFer Hester and that may be true but he certainly didn't play that way. If Camp can just catch the freaking ball and save yards it'll help. Getting good returns will only be a plus.

Want to see him in the slot. We need a spark.

If the offense is going to continue to work as an underneath offense and refuse to attack down field than a guy like Camp is needed. The way this offense is being run, we need a guy who can get open quick inside to present a quick chain moving option. Other than maybe SSS the Ravens really don't have that guy, so I'd like to see Camp used on offense as well. Especially if Marty won't attack downfield more.

Yep- with all this dink and dunk crap goin on atleast a small shifty guy would help move the chains a little more.

He's officially active! Not that I didn't expect him to be. Hopefully he can help give our offense better field position (aka not let the ball roll to the 1). Plus, like @January J said above, he is shifty. I could see him making an impact on offense in the slot.
