the eagles have the worst receiver corp in the nfl, a regressing rookie qb and an OL that isnt as good as was originally advertised

we should beat them at home - we need to rebuild momentum now because it all got diffused last night

I read that Jimmy Smith has a high ankle sprain, if so, then is he out for the year with a 6 wk rehab period?

The injury situation may be dooming to our hoped for late season run, but injury status information is very vague, who else is now a question mark for the beagles game, Rick Wagner???

I have a beagle, and she's much more ferocious than the Eagles this season, even at age 10.

Thanks for adding some clarity to the injury uncertainty surrounding the team going into the final stretch.

We have managed to lose to all three of the NFC East teams we've played so far and made all their QBs look better than Flacco performed in the process.

It may not be good idea to take this game for granted coming off a difficult loss, short week, and looking ahead to the squealers, perfect scenario for a trap game

All three of those NFC teams have solid defenses, but still, you take away CJ's fumble in the end zone, Jimmy Smith not being concussed and (I have no exuse for the Cowboys game, they're just better than us) we have a real chance of being 2-1 against them. Flacco doesn't play against the opposing QB so it's really a nonsensical point to make. I've just never heard the Eagles called the "beagles" before. Sheesh. I'm not sure about the injuries, though visiting our homepage or Rotoworld.com may shed some light. We aren't losing to Philly. Write that down and come back to me on Sunday evening. Even if Jimmy is out.

You just HAD to make a prediction for last night's game. You just couldn't help yourself and now you post EMOJIS?!?! Last night's loss falls on YOUR hands! :(

Offense needs to go hard or stay home. I wonder which Baltimore Ravens offense will show up because it seems like a game of cards with the way they play.

What fell on me was going against my better judgment in even "thinking" that this team could go into Foxboro...in PRIMETIME....and come out with the "W" in the first place Dom.  I thought I learned my lesson from that Dallas game but I got coaxed into drinking that purple kool-aid this past week.

Not anymore though!  :th_snapoutofit:

I'm sticking with my Apple Cider for these next 3 games.  And by the way...I'm digging these emojis. :th_grapes:

Better than Philly and Cincinnati, just above normal mediocre, like a 9-7 mediocre, Bengals are a 7-8-1 kind of mediocre and Philly is a rookie QB learning the hard way kind of mediocre lol.

That remains to be seen.

The Eagles ran through the Steelers and Cinci is making a little push after beating the Eagles and the Browns.  Hopefully they can take the Steelers down a peg for us and we can pull off a victory over the Eagles.  Plus, word on the street is that A.J. Green the "Ravens-Killer" is practicing this week so he may definitely be playing in our final matchup.  Not trying to be pessimistic at all OU.  Just being realistic as things are now.

With Hester waived...I'm a little less nervous about special teams moving forward. He was by far the worst of the worst on that team

Hard to even be nervous when he doesn't even attempt to catch the ball. Being able to start with decent field position should help going forward.

It's not just how we play, but also what our opposition plays. I stated last week, that Belechick would bump our receivers at the LOS, allowing their linebackers to take away passing routes. That happened last night and we had no answer to it.

If we don't win the division than I hope the Bengals do, my friends can have it this year, they'd rather lose and get a better draft pick at this point. It would be funny if this was the year they win a playoff game, it would also be funny to see them lose one too.

You're absolutely right to not be overconfident in these games, we'd be crazy to be, there is no offensive scheme, Flacco fit Kubiak's scheme better, this has him throwing too much for little gain, a run game could change that.

Good riddance. Bring on campanaro. I think he's itching to provide a spark.

Saw a segment on NFL.com, buy or sell, and two analysts are buying the Ravens. One said we lose to Pitt, but beat Philly and Cincinnati and take a wildcard. The other said we beat Pitt and win the division. Some still believe! lol

These last three are very winnable like every other game the Ravens have been in. I felt like our game against Miami was the POTENTIAL of this offense. The absence of Jimmy hurts, but we clearly need depth at the cornerback position. I'm tired of our secondary being dependent on whether or not Jimmy is healthy. Same goes for wins and losses, all hinges on Jimmy.

I think we get back on track against the Eagles and then who knows against Pitt. Should be a good one, as always.

I'd rather see nobody from the outside believe in us lol. I feared we'd somewhat lay an egg when I kept on reading article after article saying how the Ravens arrive and they're for real and all that good stuff. What really took the cake is when I saw Skip Bayless call Flacco an all-time great QB in NE. He really thought he was slick with that.

This is enough said besides that this is a three game season then after those three games a 4 game season the focus should be on 3 games not what happened all season these three games are the only thing that make or break this entire seasons and I believe we have the men for the job some warriors who fight every week the veteran leadership and experience we have in this team should make for a focused team

I definitely agree with that OU.

Sooooo, the truth has finally come out?  So because you kept reading as you say..."article after article"...about the Ravens so-called, "arrival," they rolled into Gillette and laid that hot smelly egg last night Dom?  Obviously, this loss is on YOU my brother...it's on YOU! :bag:

The Ravens have to show-up as a team and play as a team for 60 min. The offense has got to compete and stay on the field as long as possible and score TD's to give the defense rest. Elam should be inactive the rest of the season and end his contract on that status.

I think this could be our Giants game of 2012 I'm super excited for Sunday I think the team will come out pissed off did anyone catch in the "late for work" article today suggs saying they better hope they don't see us again after being booed off the field I think last night may have pissed some people off... but on the other hand if we lose I think unless a lot goes in our favor the playoffs are a lost hope

They just need to win the next 3. THEN, we can talk about seeing them again.

I like it a lot as well, but if it doesn't translate to wins then it's a moot point. I really fear the winless month of October is going to haunt us.

I did!

I drank the "offensive kool-aid" against my better judgment and then on top of that the defense failed me as well.  :gaah:However, not within these next 3 games. I'm staying true to form.  And for you Dom?  Don't read any articles that may be "juicing up" the Ravens a the favorites.  Just watch it play out!

I also really enjoyed Steve smiths comments after the game after being asked what's the mindset with a three game season and he said "we gotta play dangerous real dangerous and not not to lose" and he's 100% correct
